<![CDATA[This research aims to examine the influence of the social values, family demands, financial rewards, and work environment towards the interest of accounting students in choosing the accountant profession. It is expected that this research can help the students in considering the career they will choose. The sample of this research is students of University Riau in Pekanbaru. Data collection method in this study is the method of questionnaire survey by using instrument that are delivered directly to the students. Total Respondents in this analysis is 95 respondents. Method of Analysis is conducted with a multiple regression analysis by using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) Version 19. The results of hypotheses testing by using the t test, concluded H1, H2, H3, H4 is accepted, indicating that the variable social values, family demands, financial rewards, and work environment have influence on the selection of the accountant profession. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh nilai-nilai sosial, tuntutan keluarga, penghargaan finansial dan lingkungan kerja terhadap minat mahasiswaakuntansi dalam memilih profesi akuntan. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam mempertimbangkan karier yang akan mereka pilih.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Riau Pekanbaru. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei kuesioner menggunakan instrumen yang disampaikan langsung kepada mahasiswa. Total responden yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah 95 responden. Metode Analisis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi berganda menggunakan SPSS (Statistik Produk dan Solusi Layanan) Versi 19.Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t, disimpulkan H1, H2, H3, H4 diterima, menunjukkan bahwa variabel nilai-nilai sosial, tuntutan keluarga, penghargaan finansial dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemilihan profesi akuntan.]]>
