Abstract

The study aims to develop interactive multimedia effectively used in Theme 4 and theme 5 in the semester I in Grade V of elementary school with valid, practical and effective criteria. The type of research is research and development using the 4-D Thiagarajan model through four stages, namely design, define, develop, and disseminate. The instrument used is the instrument of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Data analysis using a Likert scale by looking at the analysis of validation, practicality, and effectiveness. The limited trial was carried out on the fifth-grade students of SDN 08 Sungai Rumbai with 21 students. The results show that interactive multimedia-based learning media in the first semester of fifth-grade elementary school have met the valid, practical, and effective categories to improve students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses bertujuan untuk membuat siswa termotivasi untuk belajar IPA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan pedekatan keterampilan proses. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 08 Sungai Rumbai yang berjumlah 34 orang, terdiri dari 14 orang laki- laki dan 20 orang perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses Aspek kognitif siswa  memperoleh  nilai 90, pada spek afektif siswa adalah 78%, dan pada aspek psikomotor adalah 84 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 08 Sungai Rumbai.

Abstract

Education policy is important in the process of achieving national education goals so that an understanding of the basic concepts of education policy is needed in order to produce pro-active education policies and problem solving. The purpose of writing this article is to examine the scope of education policy which consists of the meaning of education policy, components of education policy, characteristics of educational policies and implementation of educational policies. This writing methodology uses literature study methodology. The writing of this article was carried out by reviewing 26 journals related to education policy. The results of the study found that education policy is a policy related to the education sector in the process of elaborating the vision and mission of education in order to achieve educational goals through strategic steps in the implementation of education. The education policy component consists of five, namely objectives, plans, programs, decisions, and impacts. The characteristics of education policy are that of having educational objectives, fulfilling legal-formal aspects, having an operational concept, being made by the authorities, being able to be evaluated and having a systematic approach. The approach to implementing educational policy consists of a structural approach, a procedural and managerial approach, a behavioral approach and a political approach.
