Abstract

Abraham  is a prophet whose  name is  celebrated by Jews, Christians, and Muslims, something that is not owned by the other prophets. The three religious adherents have their own story about Abraham based on their own holy scriptures. This article deals with one side of Abrahams life history, namely how  Abraham conveid Gods message to his nation. This problem will be discussed in the Islamic perspective, with reference to the Koran as its main source.Key Word: Abraham, Alquran, preaching

Abstract

The science of ma’ânî is a set of rules and of principles  employed to know how to make an Arabic sentence structure agreeing with  language situation and condition. One of the objects of the science of ma’ânî is  khabar. Khabar is  a sentence that  may be either true or false, depending on the reality. If the reality agrees with khabar, then  it is called true khabar, but if not, it is called false khabar. There are two purposes of delivering khabar, namely fâ’idat al-khabar and lâzim al-fâ’idah. Sometimes the purposes of khabar deviate from that two original purposes to become istirhâm, izhâr al-da’f, izhâr al-tahassur, etc.Kata Kunci: al-balâghah al-‘arabiyyah, ‘ilm al-ma’ânî, al-khabar

Abstract

This article  deals with one aspect of balaghah i.e. badi’. As we know badi’ is a science by which we know some beautiful features of sentences. But how  badi’ emerged in the history of Arabic culture? Who is responsible for the rising of  badi’? And how many parts  badi’ has? This article  tries to answer these questions. Kata Kunci : ‘ilm al-badi’,’ilm al-balagah, ‘ilm al-bayan,’ilm al- ma’ani
