<![CDATA[ABSTRAK. Perkembangan di bidang teknologi informasi, khususnya sistem informasi telah membawa kemudahan yang menjanjikan sebuah efisiensi kerja. STMIK BANJARBARU adalah pergurun tinggi yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan untuk mempersiapkan sarjana komputer yang dapat memenuhi tuntutan dunia kerja terhadap profesional yang memiliki kemampuan manajarial dibidang Teknologi Informasi. Karena kurangnya efisiensi informasi mengenai profil dosen STMIK BANJARBARU dalam hal ini, untuk lebih memudahkan medapat informasi profil dosen tersebut, penelitian ini akan menerapkan aplikasi smartphone berbasis android untuk menanggulangi permasalahan ini, dikarenakan hampir semua mahasiswa STMIK BANJARBARU sudah mengunakan smartphone berbasis android, dengan adanya sistem informasi yang dibangun, informasi-informasi yang diperlukan akan lebih mudah didapatkan. Sistem aplikasi ini menggunakan Android Studio dan Visual Studio Code sebagai Integrated Development Environment (IDE) serta XAMPP sebagai bundle untuk web server (Apache) dengan database (MySQL). Informasi dosen telah dikembangkan menggunakan arsitektur mobile cloud dimana sudah ada aplikasi mobile pada user layer berbasis Android serta web service pada service layer menggunakan PHP. Hasil pengujian membantu pihak kampus STMIK BANJARBARU dalam menyampaikan informasi profil dosen, dengan adanya sistem informasi Profile Dosen berbasis Android ini, hal ini dapat dilihat pada pengujian user acceptance dimana nilai Alpha Cronbach yaitu sebesar 1,332 dan terletak diantara 0,80 hingga 100 sehingga dapat dikatakan sangat reliabel. Due to the lack of efficiency of information regarding the profile of STMIK BANJARBARU lecturers in this case, to make it easier to obtain profile information for the lecturers, this study will implement an Android-based smartphone application to overcome this problem, because almost all STMIK BANJARBARU students are already using Android-based smartphones, with a system information that is built, the information required will be easier to obtain.
