Abstrak. Keberhasilan usaha penangkaran sarang Burung Walet sangat dipengaruhi oleh letak lokasi rumah penangkaran, agar burung walet tertarik untuk bersarang serta tidak menimbulkan dampak lingkungan. Paper ini menyajikan model sistem rekomendasi lokasi penempatan gedung penangkaran Burung Walet dengan menggunakan metode Weighted Product (WP). Penalaran WP didasarkan pada parameter Jarak lokasi penangkaran ke Sentra Walet, Perairan, sumber makanan, permukiman terdekat, kepadatan penduduk, serta pupulasi burung walet. Delapan Lokasi pada sebuah wilayah pedesaan di Kalimantan Selatan dijadikan wilayah percobaan. Pengujian akurasi WP dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil penalaran WP dengan penalaran seorang Pakar Burung Walet. Hasil Uji Precision and Recall memperlihatkan tingkat presisi WP sebesar 87%.Kata kunci: Sistem Rekomendasi, Lokasi Penangkaran, Sarang Burung Walet, Weighted Product Abstract. The success of the swiftlet nest breeding business is strongly influenced by the location of the breeding house, so that swallows are attracted to nesting and do not cause environmental impacts. This paper presents a model of a recommendation system for the location of the Swallow's breeding building using the Weighted Product (WP) method. WP's reasoning is based on the parameters of the distance of the breeding location to the Swallow Center, waters, food sources, the closest settlements, population density, and swallow population. Eight locations in a rural area in South Kalimantan were used as experimental areas. WP accuracy testing is done by comparing the results of WP's reasoning with the reasoning of a Swallow Expert.
