Abstract

Abstrak. Sistem pengolahan data akademik serta pendistribusiannya yang masih dilakukan secara manual kepada pihak-pihak terkait di lingkungan SMP Negeri 1 Petang menimbulkan kendala, terutama pada saat hari libur, sebab aktivitas tersebut harus dilakukan oleh pihak manajemen akademik dari lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Web yang dapat digunakan untuk mengelola data aktivitas akademik, serta mendistribusikan kepada pihak terkait kapan saja dan dimana saja. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research anda Development, dengan mengikuti tahapan-tahapan dalam metode Pengembangan Rational Unified Process. Desain sistem menggunakan model berorientasi objek Unified Modeling Language, sedangkan implementasi desain menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, CSS, dan JavaScript, serta database MySQL. Hasil Analisis sistem mengusulkan beberapa kebutuhan fungsional utama berupa: pendataan siswa, guru, mata pelajaran, kelas, jadwal pembelajaran dan ujian oleh Petugas Akdemik; pendataan kehadiran dan nilai oleh Guru; penyajian berbagai informasi aktivitas akademik kepada Guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Fitur-fitur fungsional pada aplikasi diuji dengan metode Blackbox Testing. Hasil pengujian Blackbox menunjukkan fitur-fitur fungsional pada aplikasi telah berjalan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna.Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi Akademik; Sekolah Menengah Pertama; Berbasis Web Abstract. The academic data processing system and its distribution which is still done manually to related parties in the SMP Negeri 1 Petang environment creates obstacles, especially during holidays, because these activities must be carried out by the academic management of the school environment. The purpose of this research is to develop a Web-Based Academic Information System model that can be used to manage academic activity data, and distribute it to related parties anytime and anywhere. The research uses the Research and Development method, by following the stages in the Rational Unified Process Development method. The system design uses the Unified Modeling Language object-oriented model, while the design implementation uses the PHP, CSS, and JavaScript programming languages, as well as the MySQL database. The results of the system analysis propose several main functional requirements in the form of: data collection for students, teachers, subjects, classes, learning schedules and exams by Academic Officers; data collection of attendance and grades by the teacher; presentation of various information on academic activities to teachers, students, and parents of students. The functional features of the application are tested using the Blackbox Testing method. The results of the Blackbox test show that the functional features of the application have been running according to user needs.Keywords: Academic Information System; Junior High School; Web-Based
