Abstract

Abstrak            Pengambil keputusan masih mengandalkan intuisi (subyektif). Kendala lain adalah pada penggunaan pengurutan prioritas biasa yang dapat menimbulkan hasil tidak objektif karena hasil rata-rata nilai yang masih terdapat kesamaan walaupun nilai di tiap kriteria berbeda. Sehingga keputusan yang dibuat bisa mengakibatkan salah memilih siswa yang seharusnya tidak terpilih dan siswa yang seharusnya terpilih tidak terpilih.Untuk itu diperlukan suatu sistem alternatif dalam pemilihan siswa berprestasi dengan menerapkan metode Topsis yang dapat membantu dalam penentuan siswa berprestasi yang dirasakan kurang cepat dan tepat. Dengan membandingkan nilai (total nilai) secara manual dengan nilai (total nilai) menggunakan aplikasi berbasis metode Topsis, maka diperoleh tingkat akurasi sebesar 71%. Kata kunci: TOPSIS, Pemilihan Siswa Berprestasi, Sekolah Menengah Pertama Abstract            Decision makers are still relying on intuition (subjective). Another obstacle is the use of sorting the usual priority which can lead to results not objective because the average value that is still present in common although the value in each of the different criteria. So decisions made can result in wrong to choose students who should not be elected and students who should be selected not elected.             For that needed an alternative system in the selection of students achieving good results by applying the method Topsis which can help in determining the perceived less accomplished students quickly and precisely. By comparing values (total value) manually to the value (total value) using Topsis method based application, then obtained the level of accuracy of 71%.Keywords: TOPSIS, selection of an accomplished Students, junior high school
