<![CDATA[AbstrakSemakin pesatnya perkembangan dunia elektronik membuat hampir semua peralatan rumah tangga maupun peralatan industri menggunakan sistem kendali elektronik. Penggunaan sistem kendali elektronik ini dinilai memberikan banyak keuntungan. Terdapat banyak jenis sistem kendali elektronik, misalnya sistem kendali berbasis mikrokontroler, sistem kendali dengan komputer, dan sistem kendali dengan PLC (Programmable Logic Control). Salah satu contoh pada proses produksi suatu industri banyak sekali digunakan sistem kendali PLC. Sistem kendali ini banyak digunakan karena dinilai memiliki kemudahan dalam hal pengoperasian. Selain itu, sistem kendali ini juga memiliki harga yang relatif lebih murah bila dibandingkan dengan sistem kendali yang lain.Pada penelitian ini sistem penyortiran barang yang digunakan menggunakan sensor warna yang berfungsi sebagai alat untuk memilih meletakkan barang sesuai dengan warna yang telah ditentukan di posisi warna tempat masing-masing.Berdasarkan perancangan, pengujian, dan analisis yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan hal-hal yaitu dari hasil pengujian terhadap PLC (Programmable Logic Control) mengguakan sensor warna, didapatkan bahwa sensor warna dengan jarak sensor pada objek dapat mempengaruhi nilainya yang didapat akan berbeda-beda, oleh karena itu tentukan jarak sensor terhadap objek.Kata Kunci: Sistem Automasi, Sistem Sortir, Programmable Logic Control AbstractThe rapid development of the electronics world makes almost all household appliances and industrial equipment uses an electronic control system. The use of an electronic control system is considered to provide a lot of advantages. There are many types of electronic control systems,for example a microcontroller-based control system, with computer control system, and a control system with a PLC (Programmable Logic Control). One example of the production process is widely used industrial control systems PLC. This control system is widely used because it is considered to have the ease of operation. In addition, the control system also has a price relatively cheaper when compared with other control systems. In this study the sorting systems used items using color sensor that serves as a tool to select colors put the goods in accordance with a predetermined position of each spot color.Based on the design, testing, and analysis has been done, it can be concluded that the things of the test results of PLC (Programmable Logic Control), uses a color sensor, found that the color sensor with the sensor distance to the object can affect the value obtained will vary, therefore specify the distance sensor to the object.Keywords: Automated System, sorting systems, Programmable Logic Control]]>
