Abstract

Meat is the soft part of the animal that is covered by skin and is attached to the bones which become food ingredients. This research was conducted to classify the types of fresh, inn and rotten beef using 120 samples of beef taken directly by the researcher. Before classifying the type of beef, the texture of the beef image was extracted using the GLCM method to produce texture parameters in the form of contrast, correlation, homogeneity and energy. Texture parameters are classified using the KNN method. The results in this study indicate that the extraction of beef image texture using the GLCM method can produce various values on the 4 parameters of the GLCM texture. In addition, the results of the classification of beef freshness using the KNN method to determine 3 types of meat quality, namely fresh, cooked and rotten beef, obtained an evaluation of the classification performance using the Confusion Matrix table with an Accuracy value of 0.82, Precision of 0.83, Recall of 0.82 and F-Measure of 0.82. So that the parameters of the beef image texture using the GLCM method can be classified properly using the KNN method.

Abstract

The focus of the problem in this reaserch is about meaning that exist in movement symbol of Melinting Dance on Lampung Saibatin Community in Wana Village. The purpose in this reaserch to knowing about meaning in movement symbol of Melinting Dance in Wana Village. The method that used in this reaserch is Hermeneutika method. The reaserch is used data accumulation technique interview, observation, documentation and blibiography. Data analysis technique that used in this reaserch is analysis qualitative data. The result of this reaserch is to show that symbols and meanings of Melinting Dance on Lampung Saibatin Community in Wana Village, Melinting’s distric, regency of East Lampung is discribe about ethic or character and pride which is owned by Lampung Community as their self identity by Lampung Saibatin Community in Wana Village, Melinting’s distric, regency of East Lampung.Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah makna yang terdapat pada simbol gerak Tari Melinting pada masyarakat adat Lampung Saibatin di Desa Wana. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui makna pada simbol gerak Tari Melinting pada masyarakat adat Lampung Saibatin di Desa Wana. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Hermeneutika. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa simbol dan makna Tari Melinting pada masyarakat adat Lampung Saibatin di Desa Wana Kecamatan Melinting Kabupaten Lampung Timur menggambarkan sebuah etika atau budi pekerti dan harga diri yang dimiliki oleh orang lampung yang dijadikan sebagai identitas diri masyarakat Lampung Saibatin di Desa Wana Kecamatan Melinting Kabupaten Lampung Timur.Kata kunci: makna, simbol, tari melinting
