Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Contextual Appoach in Improveing the Motivation in Math Learning III grade student SD. The purposed to describe the application of contextual approach to improve the motivation student grade III SD. This research is a class room action research in three cycle. The subjects were elementary school students in third grade state Buniayu with total 25 students. The data was collected by using observation questionnaire and assessment learning. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive technique supported by qualitative and quantitative data. The validation of data is using triangulation technique. The results of research shows that the contextual approach is able to increase the motivation and result learning math at III grade student. Keywords: Study Motivation, Contextual Approach, Math. Abstrak: Penerapan Pendekatan Kontekstual dalam Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas III SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas III SD. Penelitian ini penelitian tindakan kelas dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas III SDN Buniayu semester 2 sejumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, dan penilaian hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah teknik deskriptif  yang didukung oleh data kualitatif maupun data kuantitatif. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III.   Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Pendekatan Kontekstual, Matematika.
