Abstract

Maccera' tappareng tradition, as the part of culture heritage from Buginese decendant has symbolic meaning practically and also theoritically, especially for fishermen community at Tempe lake. Practically, symbolic meaning can be seen on: sacrifice ceremony namely to sink a buffalo’s head in the middle of Tempe lake; the special way in sacrificing buffalo’s head to the king of lake (punna wae) which is only known by maccua tappareng; the presentation of walasuji (the name of sacrifice tools) equipments which being a place for putting buffalo’s head and also the others sacrifice; the drum music which become a special code in the running the tradition of maccera’ tappareng; the formation of rules about the obligation and the prohibition which should be obeid by the fishermen. In cultural area, maccera' tappareng tradition is the descedant culture heritage which should be kept everlasting as local culture resources. Maccera’ tappareng tradition has role in keeping Tempe lake ecosystem and social cohesion of fishermen community

Abstract

Perkembangan pemikiran dalam ajaran Islam selalu diwarnai dan mewarnai disiplin keilmuan lainnya sepanjang sejarah perjalanan ilmu pengetahuan. Semuanya hampir dapat dikatakan terinspirasi dari upaya pencarian kebenaran dan pencarian Tuhan sebagai zat yang “tak tersentuh”. Ibnu Sina yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Avicena adalah salah seorang tokoh penting dalam studi pemikiran Islam yang telah mencetuskan teori-teori tentang hubungan Tuhan-manusia-dan alam. Melalui teori emanasi, Ibnu Sina kembali menyusun nalar kreatif untuk tetap menjaga kekudusan Tuhan. Melalui falsafah jiwa, Ibnu Sina mendeskripsikan potensi manusia yang berada pada pilihan-pilihan yang membatasi nilai kemanusiaan. Melalui falsafah kenabian, Ibnu Sina mendeskripsikan potensi manusia yang dapat lebih dekat kepada Tuhan melalui sosok “pilihan Tuhan”. Sedangkan melalui falsafah wujud, Ibnu Sina sekali lagi mampu mengangkat citra positif manusia yang mampu menjangkau esensi di dalam akal dan menangkap wujud di luar akal manusia. Kreativitas nalar yang dimiliki Ibnu Sina menjadikannya tokoh yang disegani oleh kawan maupun lawan di masa-Nya. Jejak-jejak pemikiran Ibnu Sina hingga saat ini masih tetap menjadi inspirasi bagi setiap pemikir Muslim yang mengakui keluasan jangkauan nalar manusia yang tidak terbatas.

Abstract

In sufistic discourse, the real journey of life can be said to be a journey to seek God and at the same time a journey to God or at least to God. When the endeavor in that direction is taken seriously, then there are three potential choices that can be made by someone who believes in the existence of God based on the three basic potentials that humans have. If someone is trying to use her services with the potential of using her services, she will strive (mujahid) and try to become a martyr in the way of Allah. If he maximizes the potential of his mind, then he will emigrate with his reasoning power to get closer to the divine truth. If he tries to use his Ruhiyah potential, he will worship to upgrade his piety to the Creator. Rabi'ah al-Adawiyah seems to have sought his sincerity to approach and approach God in a third way. Through the concept of mahabbah that he coined, Rabi'ah al-Adawiyah consistently upgraded his love from ordinary love to extreme love. This effort has tremendous implications for the presence of expressions of love for Allah without any conditions or tendencies. With this extreme expression of love, Rabi'ah believes that she can meet and unite with the Creator. This concept might be judged to leapfrog the epistemology of the Shari'a, but it is personally worthy of being valued as an endeavor that utilizes the spiritual power that potentially belongs to Allah swt., entrust every human being.
