Abstract

Gender is not the only thing that determines the perception of the individual, although sometimes it has a significant effect. But there are many other things that affect a person's perception, such as one's attention to the object to be perceived or whether there is a social unity of the respondent, and ultimately result in a behavior that is almost uniform when buffeted by certain incentives. This also happens because every individual is active in finding information and getting additional cognition from various sources that he believes about problems related to the exposure. And supported by the media that can meet their respective needs for information.

Abstract

Information has become an ever-increasing needs. The public consumes information every day, from anywhere and in any way. The need for this communication is increasingly facilitated by the development of communications technology. Encouraged the community to have the communication tools that its content and not yet fully understand the functions and benefits or (regrettably) only inedible prod trendsetters and are tempted to follow the pattern of urban lifestyle. Lower class people who want to follow the lifestyle of leisure group class then becomes 'victim'. They became consumptive and hunting for items they do not really understand fully. They became consumptive and trying to follow the class leisure lifestyle they do not really understand fully.

Abstract

Waste is one of the biggest unsolved problem in Indonesia, and it affect the nation health and surrounding, not only in big city but also in rural area. Wastes are unwanted material at the end of a process. Human defined wastes by its usefulness degree, but by its process through nature, wastes are just a product. Where wastes are just insubstantial material that valueless. Considering that waste problem are important and urgent matter, we need a better waste management that not only efficient but also beneficial, especially in the application of effective communication model. We must remember that this earth is a loan from our next generations that we must conserve for a better tomorrow. Good or bad habitude in waste management will determine the continuity of earth and human nature. Maybe Don’t Litter are just an old saying but it will determine our nature and earth continuity. Because in the end our habitude in waste management are depend on our individual habitual in waste management.

Abstract

The objects of tourism attraction have an important role in Indonesia’s tourism growth, as an example is Cireundeu adat village in Cimahi, West Java. Which has potentials to be a tourism destination, and still being developed of late. The potentials to be a tourism destination cannot be separated from local government involvement to the development of village tourism, which can be done through regulation and authorization, but in the enactment process, there are several factors that make policy implementation of Cirendeu adat village development as tourism destination is not optimal. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation on communication of public policy, particularly about the development of tourism village in Cireundeu Adat Village that led by the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports (Disbudparpora) as an Executive element. This research uses qualitative research methods with data collection procedures are through observation, in-depth interviews, and related documentation. This research concludes that the communication on public policy of village tourism development led by Disbudparpora was through persuasive communication approach, along with that, there are constrain factors and supporting factors in the implementation. Disbudparpora also must actively provide guidance in development process and more engaging with the indigenous peoples for sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

Pemberitaan mengenai konflik antar individu yang dipicu oleh unggahan stories dan bahkan ada yang berujung menjadi awal sumber kejahatan semakin marak dengan semakin terbukanya individu pada ruang publik. Sehingga penelitian ini berusaha untuk menangkap motif penyebab dan motif tujuan, serta makna komunikasi dari penggunaan media instagram stories sebagai media aktualisasi diri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Sedangkan Teori yang digunakan yaitu Konsep Fenomenologi dari Alfred Schutz, yang di dukung dengan Teori Aktualisasi Diri dari Abraham Maslow. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan penelaahan dokumen, baik itu dari penelitian terdahulu yang masih terkait maupun literatur yang mendukung penelitian ini. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingginya keingintahuan individu terhadap stories pengguna instagram lainnya, membuat individu tersebut pada akhirnya mengikuti berbagai aktivitas unggahan orang tersebut. Suasana hati pengguna instagram akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap unggahan stories pada akunnya. Stories dapat berdampak positif dan negatif pada pengguna maupun yang mengikutinya atau follower-nya. Stories juga dapat digunakan untuk membentuk citra diri pengguna, serta dapat dijadikan outlet untuk menyalurkan bakat pengguna.
