Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the understanding and perceptions of the public upon history of Sheikh Maulana Maghribi’s (SMM) tomb and character. This qualitative approach used historical research. The results showed that the SMM’s history of the tomb and his figures are still remembered and understood among Wonobodro community through two ways, namely: through word of mouth from family members or other people hereditary and through oral explanation from the manager of the tomb complex, especially Interpreter Lock to pilgrims. In addition, it was also revealed that there are two different informants understanding about the real identity of Sheikh Maulana Maghribi. It is caused by lack of depth information obtained by Wonobodro community. The conclusion that there is character and story elements that reflect the similarities of culture, values and experience of informants and community.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper focuses on the development of primaryeducation teachers, viewed from the perspective of Islamic educationand its benefits for improving the quality of Indonesian human whole.The essence of basic education is highly related to human rights todevelopment itself and the basic provisions for decent living in a societyin any part of the world. From this, the duties and responsibilities ofprimary education teachers become very crucial in the era ofglobalization because only the competitive teachers who are able tomanage duties and responsibilities to improve the quality of Indonesianhuman . Meanwhile, in the context of Islamic education, teachersare « waritsat al-anbiya « who have mission of « rahmat li al-‘alamin «,in which the whole aspect of life is « uswatun khasanah».Thus, the program of teachers ‘competence development mustconsider the goals, essential and characteristics of primary education,the dominant potential of primary education learners and theresponsibilities of primary education teachers, so that educationalprograms in primary education can support the improvement of humanquality of Indonesia completely.

Abstract

Like the university as a front line in developing human potential students to become superior both academically and character, it would require the development of curriculum that can support the achievement of these goals. One is the development of character-based learning or lectures. Therefore, in this paper offer a principled method of writing scientific papers ESQ 165, which is a method of writing scientific papers involving spiritual development of emotional intelligence (ESQ) the author with the insertion and integration of values ESQ 165. In the early stages, this method has been implemented in Indonesian lectures at STAIN Pekalongan.
