Keseimbangan dari beberapa komponen yang dimiliki mahasiwa baik IQ (Intelligent Quotient), EQ(Emotional Quotient), AQ ( Adversity Quotient ), SQ ( Spiritual Quotient ) berperanan sangat pentingdalam sesuatu kesuksesan dalam belajar karena hal tersebut berkaitan dengan motivasi setiap individu.Pembentukan karakter mahasiswa salah satunya melalui berorganisasi. Dalam suatu organisasidiharapkan mahasiswa mampu bersosialisasi, saling membantu, dan bertukar pendapat sebagaipoin penting yang dapat memotivasi mahasiswa untuk belajar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahuiketerkaitan keaktifan mahasiswa dalam organisasi dan kecerdasan emosional dengan motivasi belajarmahasiswa tingkat III Prodi D-IV Keperawatan Politeknik Kesehatan Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian kuantitatif dengan metode corelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitianadalah 54 mahasiswa Prodi D-IV Keperawatan tingkat III Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Surakarta.Penentuan responden penelitian berdasarkan simple random sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan ujilinier ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kontribusi dari variabel keaktifan mahasiswa dalamorganisasi dengan motivasi belajar sebesar 0,5% dengan tanda parameter positif pada angka 0,500. Hasilt-hitung variabel keaktifan mahasiswa dalam organisasi sebesar 6,387 > nilai t tabel dengan tingkatkepercayaan 95% yaitu 4,303 artinya ada kontribusi positif dan signifi kan keaktifan mahasiswa dalamorganisasi terhadap motivasi belajar. Perhitungan regresi variabel kecerdasan emosional yaitu 0,500%.Hasil t-hitung variabel kecerdasan emosional sebesar 6,984 > nilai t tabel dengan tingkat kepercayaan95% yaitu 4,303 sehingga ada kontribusi positif dan signifi kan kecerdasan emosional terhadap motivasibelajar. The results showed the contribution of variable activeness ofstudents in the organization with motivation to learn by 0.5% with positive parameters in the fi guresmark of 0.500. T-test results of students in the organization of the activity variables of 6.387> t tablevalue with a confi dence level of 95% as 4.303; there are positive and signifi cant contribution in theorganization of the activity of student motivation to learn. Calculation of regression variables emotionalintelligence that is 0.5%.
