Abstract

Library information system is a system required by a library for managing the data and transactions in the library. Interactive information system is important for improving the quality of service in a library. An interactive system can produce useful information for users of the library. The dissemination of information that is more efficient can be done via the internet and mobile phones. This research, developed a library information system which is able to interact with members and visitors of the library and allowing members get information about books more quickly. Implementation of SMS Gateway with autoreply facility allows members to obtain books information anytime and anywhere. The system aim to simplify the process of updating information about new books to members of the library, add reading interest and increase the number of library visitors. System implementation used MySQL for database, GAMMU for SMS Gateway and PHP. Keywords: Gateway, Information, Interactive, Library, SMS, and System.

Abstract

Nowadays, companies both large and small have flocked to use the help of science and technology in support ofthe company's operational processes. In this study will be made of software for Service Information System Centreso it can easily run the application in a parking lot and can facilitate corporate leaders in monitoring the parkingreports results every time. The software is designed using Adobe Flash, and created with Visual Basicprogramming, Seagate cristal Report with the Microsoft Office Access database. Their software for the parkingsystem is expected to be better in terms of security, speed, and order at the time of parking in the parking area.Keywords: Information Systems, Visual Basic, Adobe Flash.

Abstract

The development of technology which are grow faster requires any person or institutions to do their job quickly. Payroll system is one of many important things at any institution. To calculate employee’s salary accurately and quickly a computerized system is need. Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) in Metro City is an institution that is responsible to the community services. The process of payroll system on this institution has been done using computer in semi manual way. Therefore this institution needs a computerized system that could calculate employee salary automatically. On this research was made a payroll system that integrated with crystal report of finger print attendance system. Payroll system can convert data from crystal report of finger print attendance systems for calculate the salary of employee. In addition, the system can cut withholding tax, cut delay or go home before time home, and presenting more detail attendance and salaries recapitulation report of employees. This research used visual basic 6.0 as programming language, MySQL as database, and  crystal report to perform reports. The method of development system that used in this research is waterfall method. The result of Black Box Testing showed that payroll system has been successfully built according to user requirement.

Abstract

AbstractThe increase of number and size of data, resulted the increase in the user needs for the ability of a computer to process large data. The new paradigm, parallel computing, is proposed to handle the problems which teaches that substantial-job can be split up into marginal-job by increasing the number of workers. One of the method is cluster computing which is using more than one processor to handle single process. Even it showed a significant increase in computing than the conventional one, the high price to build a cluster system becomes a constraint.This study uses one of parallel computing method that is GPU computing and compares the result to cluster computing. GPU computing uses Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to compute in parallel. The result of this study shows that by using GPU computing the use of processor can be maximized, and it shows that it has more capability in matrix multiplication than cluster computing.

Abstract

Yoga , in Hindu philosophy, focuses on meditation activities or tapa where ones focuses all thoughts to control the five senses and the body as a whole. The rapid progress of information and communication technology and the lack of Hindu Yoga learning media in digital form have encouraged the development of Hindu Yoga Learning Applications Android-based. This application is expected to be a practical and interesting learning media to be learnt, as well as a reference in learning the movements of Hatha Yoga and Surya Namaskara besides books. This study has succeeded in developing an Android Application of Hindu Yoga Learning consisting of 46 Yoga movements, among others, 12 (twelve) Surya Namaskara movements, 8 (eight) pranayama movements, 7 (seven) sitting position of asanas movements, 8 standing position of asanas movements and 11 (eleven) sleep position of asanas movements. This application runs on the Android operating system so that it can be accessed by everyone and at any time on a smartphone or tablet computer that supports the Android operating system. The conclusion of this study is that the Hindu Yoga Learning Applications Android-based has been successfully built and it has been tested to match with the expected result.

Abstract

SIMIPA merupakan Sistem Informasi Terpadu Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam berbasis website yang berfungsi sebagai sistem yang dapat memberikan pelayanan bagi mahasiswa/i maupun dosen di ruang lingkup fakultas. Pengembangan SIMIPA dilakukan berdasarkan sistem yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Proses bisnis SIMIPA berpusat pada administrasi form layanan, dimana dalam penerapannya masih ada beberapa permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan menggunakan sistem. Salah satunya adalah pembuatan form layanan yang masih dilakukan secara manual serta data mahasiswa tidak tersimpan di database, sehingga mahasiswa harus mengisi data diri secara berulang setiap akan mengajukan formulir. Tujuan dari penegembangan SIMIPA adalah menambahkan beberapa fitur yang dibutuhkan serta pengelolaan data mahasiswa yang ada didalam SIMIPA untuk mempermudah mahasiswa/i dalam mendapatkan pelayanan. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan  metode scrum yang terdiri dari 23 product backlog dengan tahapan sprint sebanyak 7 iterasi dengan terget pengembangan selama 64 hari pengerjaan.
