Abstract

Effect of NASA Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Compost Fertilizer on Kenaf Plant Growth (Hibiscus cannabinus L). This study aims to determine the effect of NASA POC, compost fertilizer and the interaction of NASA POC and compost fertilizer on kenaf plants. This research was carried out at East Borneo Samarinda Indonesia. with a time of ± 4 months, starting from June to September 2016. The design of the study uses factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment consists of 2 factors. The first factor is the administration of NASA POC consisting of 4 levels, namely: j0: Control (without treatment), j1: POC with a concentration of 10 ml / liter of water, j2: POC with a concentration of 15 ml / liter of water, j3: POC with a concentration of 20 ml / liter of water. The second factor is Compost fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely: k0: Without the provision of Compost Fertilizer, k1: Composting 500 gram / polybag, k2: Composting Fertilizer 700 grams / polybag, k3: Composting 800 grams / polybag. From the analysis of variance showed that the effect of giving NASA POC (J), compost (K) and the interaction of NASA POC and compost (JK) did not affect the parameters of plant height 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP, stem diameter 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP, number of leaves 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP, leaf area 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP.

Abstract

The factors that influence rubber production are planted clones, plant care and tapping techniques. With the right tapping technique, both tapping time, tapping method and mature tapping age, the production potential of a superior clone of rubber plants that has been well maintained can be maintained. The technique of rubber tapping is closely related to the expected level of production, even very determining the age of the tree economy. The research objective was to determine the effect of stimulant better and tapping time on latex production. The method used was a randomized block design with two-factor split plot design. The first factor (main plot) is the time of tapping consists of 3 levels, namely; w1: 05 in the morning, w2: 06 in the morning, w3: 07 in the morning. The second factor (sub-plot), namely the stimulant dosage better consists of 4 levels, namely; b0: control, b1; 0.5 g, b2; : 1 g, b3; 1.5 g. The results showed that stimulate better treatment had a significant effect on latex volume, wet weight and latex dry weight, but was not significant for latex dryness levels. Tapping time was not significant for latex yield, latex volume, wet weight, latex dry weight and highest dry rubber content at 7am. Stimulant Better treatment has a significant effect on latex volume, wet weight, and latex dry weight, but if given at high doses it will reduce the dry content of rubber. The interaction of treatment when tapping and stimulant is better not significant for latex production. The stimulant application better does not exceed the dose of 0.5 g / principal. Doses> 0.5 g / staple will have an impact on the dry tapping field.

Abstract

Concentrations of Catalys Award Fertilizer Plant 2006 and Plant Spacing on the Growth and Production of Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The aim of research to determine the exact concentration of the fertilizer plant catalys 2006, so as to provide maximum results, to determine the proper spacing of the plants of eggplant and to understand the interaction on the eggplant plants to fertilization and plant spacing. This study was conducted over five months, ie from May and October 2015. The study in the village Manunggal Tenggarong District Seberang Jaya Regency. This study uses a randomized block design with 4 x 3 factorial experiment consisting of three replications. The first factor is a plant fertilizer catalys 2006, which consists of 4 levels: namely p0 (without treatment), p1 (3g / 1liter water), p2 (5g / 1liter water), p3 (7g / 1 liter of water). The second factor is a spacing consists of three levels ie t1 (70cm x 70cm), t2 (70 cm x 80), t3 (70 x 90). The results showed that fertilizer treatment plant catalys 2006 did not significantly affect plant height, stem diameter, number of branches, number of fruits per plant and fruit length, but the real impact on the weight of fruit per plant that is the highest weight of the fruit crops 360.27 g with treatment p2 (5 g / liter of water) and fruit weight per plot is 2161.60 g, equivalent to 86.46 Kw ha-1 with a treatment p2 (5 g / liter of water). While the spacing of no significant effect on all parameters observed. There is no interaction between the fertilizer plant catalys 2006 and spacing of the growth and yield of eggplant.

Abstract

Effect of hydroponic systems and planting media on growth and production of mustard plants (Brassica rapa L) The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of systems and different hiodroponic growing media on the growth and production of mustard plants. This research was conducted for 3 months, starting from June to September 2017. The research location was located in Embalut village, Tenggarong Sub-District, across the Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The research design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors with 5 replications, the first factor was the hydroponic system consisting of 3 (three) levels, namely: system wick (s?), system NFT (s?), system DFT (s?) . The second factor is m? = husk charcoal, m? = Cocopeat, m? = Rockwool. The results of this study indicate that the treatment system has a very significant effect on the average number of leaves, leaf width, plant height, leaf width of mustard plants aged 4, 5 and 6 mst, did not significantly affect the fresh weight of mustard plants. The media treatment did not affect the average number of leaves, plant height, leaf width of plants at 4, 5, 6 and fresh weight of plants did not have significant effect. The effect of the best system treatment on the growth of mustard plants produced by the NFT system (s?), the best media treatment for the growth of mustard plants was produced by the Cocopeat treatment (m?). The highest interaction with the fresh weight of mustard plants was produced by a combination of treatment s?xm?.;

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the effect of bran composition and baglog size on the production of white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). The study was arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors with 5 replications. The first factor is the composition of bran consisting of four levels, namely: 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The second factor is the size of baglog which consists of 4 levels, namely: 17 cm, 18 cm, 19 cm and 20 cm. The results showed that the composition of bran had a very significant effect on the age of the first harvest, average mushroom weight, average fresh weight per baglog and biological efficiency ratio. Baglog size has a significant effect on the age of the first harvest, average mushroom weight, average fresh weight per baglog and biological efficiency ratio. The best effect on the production of oyster mushrooms is produced by the composition of bran 20% (d3) and baglog size of 19 cm (b3). The interaction of bran composition and baglog size significantly affected the age of the first harvest and had a very significant effect on the average weight of mushrooms, but did not significantly affect the fresh weight of mushrooms per baglog and the ratio of biological efficiency. The best interaction with the production of white oyster mushrooms is a combination of 20% bran composition and 19 cm baglog size.
