Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of married women's education, husband's occupation, the education of the oldest child, residence status, family dependence and household expenditure on the chances of married women working in the informal sector (street vendors) in Kemang Indah Village, Tambang District, Kampar District . This study uses primary and secondary. The analytical tool used in this study is logistic regression. From the research results obtained from the six independent variables used in this study, three independent variants have a significant effect on the probability of married women to work in the Informal sector namely variables: husband's work, oldest education, residence status, while the other three independent variables are the education variables of married women, Jumah family dependents and household expenditures did not significantly influence the probability of married women in Kemang Indah Village, Tambang District to work in the informa sector (street vendors).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that affect labor supply in Riau Province over a period of nineteen years (2000-2018). From the results of the simultaneous study, it is known that wage level, economic growth, number of family dependents, average length of schooling and total population have a significant effect on labor supply in Riau province, while partially the wage level, number of family dependents, average school duration, and population have a significant effect on labor supply in Riau province, while tpak and economic growth have no significant effect on labor supply in Riau province.

Abstract

Bengkulu is a Province in Sumatra which is located at coordinates 5 ° 40 '- 2 ° 0' LS 40 '- 104 ° 0' E with an area of 19,788.70 km2 (7,640.46) which borders: North: West Sumatra, South : Lampung, West: Indian Ocean, East: Jambi and South Sumatra. This study aims to determine the effect of the number of labor force, the number of poor people and the provincial minimum wage on TPAK in Bengkulu province. Of these three variables the number of workforce is positively and significantly related to the TPAK of Bengkulu province, the variable of the number of poor people is positively and not significantly related to the TPAK and the Provincial Minimum Wage is negatively and significantly related to the TPAK in Bengkulu Province.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi menggambarkan perkembangan fisikal barang dan jasa di suatu wilayah/negara, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah pengeluaran pemerintah,investasi, ekspor ,impor dan jumlah penduduk berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di pulau Sumatera. Dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang diolah dengan mengunakan regresi data panel (tahun 2015-2019) di peroleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: Pengeluaran pemerintah,Impor dan jumlah Penduduk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di pulau Sumatera, sedangkan Investasi dan ekspor tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di pulau Sumatera.

Abstract

Problems related to social conditions and employment are problems that always exist and never end. This problem is not only influenced by micro and macro factors. these side by side affect each other on the employment variable. This study uses a quantitative method, based on the philosophy of positivism which is used to look at a particular population or sample. The sampling technique was carried out randomly. data collection using research instruments. Data analysis in this study aims to test the hypotheses that have been set previously. Testing the data using Eviews 10 software using the variables of labor force participation, number of labor force, and investment.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the influence of GRDP, UMK, the number of women with a high school education equivalent, the number of women with diploma education and above and the number of female population aged 15-64 years on the participation rate of the female workforce in Rokan Hilir Regency for the years (2010-20210). The results of this study indicate that the variables GRDP, UMK, women with high school education equivalent, women with diploma education and above have a positive and significant effect on the level of participation of the female workforce in Rokan Hilir Regency in 2010-2021, while the variable number of female residents is negatively and not significant. on the participation rate of the female workforce in Rokan Hilir Regency.
