<![CDATA[Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Sistem Temu Kembali Informasi OPAC Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta”. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan teori Cleverdon untuk mengevaluasi OPAC tersebut. Ada enam kriteria evaluasi,yaitu Coverage,time lag, recall, precision, form presentation, dan user effort. Berdasarkan data penelitian didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut; (1) coverage atau cakupan OPAC cukup baik dan lengkap sehingga membuat pengguna merasa puas dan mudah dalam mengaplikasikannya, (2) time lag atau waktu yang dibutuhkan mesin pencari untuk menampilkan koleksi yang diinginkan cukup singkat yaitu rata-rata 4,61 detik, (3) rata-rata recall yang dihasilkan sebesar 61% atau dalam kategori kurang efektif, (4) rata-rata precision yang didapatkan setelah pencarian sebesar 3,41% atau dalam kategori rendah atau kurang efektif, (5) form presentasi atau interface yang ditampilkan simpel dan lengkap, namun kurang menarik dan kurang berekspresi, dan (6) user effort cukup rendah karena petunjuk setiap penggunaan pilihan cukup jelas dan tidak membingungkan pengguna baru. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa OPAC milik Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta unggul dalam hal coverage, time lag, dan user effort, namun masih kurang dalam hal recall, precision, dan form presentasi.ABSTRACTThis research entitled "Analysis of Information Retrieval Information OPAC Library University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta". In this study, researchers used Cleverdon's theory to evaluate the OPAC. There are six evaluation criteria: Coverage, time lag, recall, precision, presentation form, and user effort. Based on the research data, the following results are obtained; (1) the coverage of the OPAC is good enough and complete, so user feels satisfied and easy to apply it, (2) time lag or the time required by the search engine to display the desired collection is quite short 4.61 seconds, (3) The average recall generated by 61% or in the less effective category, (4) the average precision obtained after the search of 3.41% or in the low or less effective category, (5) the presentation form or interface is simple and complete, but less attractive and less expressionally, and (6) user effort is low enough because the guidance of any use of choice is clear enough and does not confuse new users. From these results, it can be concluded that OPAC of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta excels in terms of coverage, time lag, and user effort, but still lacking in terms of recall, precision, and presentation form.]]>
