Abstract

One of the scientific publications in academic institutions is a scholarly journal. This study will describe the strategy of Jurnal Adabiyah in UIN Alauddin so that it can still exist until today in publishing scholarly papers and can be recognized as National accredited journal with Grade Sinta 2. The data were obtained through interviews with several journal editors, observations and documentation through the journal website. This research shows that in general outlines there are three strategies undertaken by Jurnal Adabiyah Journal to continue to exist which are maintaining teamwork, holding scientific activities, and promoting the journal. This research can be used as one of references for scientific publications, particularly for scientific journals in UIN Alauddin.ABSTRAKSalah satu media publikasi ilmiah di perguruan tinggi ialah jurnal. Penelitian ini akan menggambarkan bagaimana strategi Jurnal Adabiyah UIN Alauddin Makassar yang hingga saat ini masih eksis menerbitkan artikel-artikel ilmiah dan dapat pengakuan terakreditasi Nasional peringkat Sinta 2. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan beberapa editor jurnal, observasi dan dokumentasi langsung pada laman website jurnal. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara garis besar ada tiga strategi yang dilakukan Jurnal Adabiyah hingga tetap eksis yakni menjaga kerja sama tim, mengadakan kegiatan-kegiatan ilmiah, dan gencar promosi. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan salah satu rujukan bagi media-media terbitan ilmiah, khususnya jurnal-jurnal ilmiah yang ada di kampus UIN Alauddin Makassar.

Abstract

Peluang media sosial yang begitu besar menjangkau audiens membuat perpustakaan tidak ingin menyia-yiakan peluang yang ada. Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram sebagai sarana promosi Perpustakaan Katakerja di Kota Makassar dan apa kendala Perpustakaan Katakerja di Kota Makassar dalam pemanfaatan Instagram. Adapun jenis penelitian ini yakni deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dan diolah dengan metode reduksi data, penyajian data secara tertulis, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram sebagai sarana promosi Perpustakaan Katakerja di Kota Makassar dinilai sudah maksimal karena sejauh ini semua fitur-fiturnya dimanfaatkan oleh Perpustakaan Katakerja yang menggunakan nama pengguna @katakerja dengan konten yang dibagikan berupa segala kegiatan yang terkait dengan Perpustakaan Katakerja semacam layanan perpustakaan, kegiatan diskusi atau kelas, keanggotaan, koleksi, merchandise, sudut-sudut ruangan, dan kunjungan pemustaka yang dibagikan ke pengikut Instagram Perpustakaan Katakerja. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi Perpustakaan Katakerja yakni kurangnya koordinasi tim sehingga berdampak pada pengunggahan yang tidak berjalan lancar dan tidak adanya biaya pengelolaan media sosial Instagram dalam promosi Perpustakaan Katakerja.ABSTRACTThe opportunity for social media to reach an audience is so great that libraries do not want to waste existing opportunities. This research discusses how the use of Instagram as a means of promoting the Katakerja Library in Makassar City and what are the obstacles obstacles faced by its library. The type of this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data were analyzed and processed using data reduction methods, written data presentation, and documentation. The results show that the use of Instagram is fully conclutions as a means of promoting the Katakerja Library in Makassar City is considered to be maximal because its features have been utilized by the Katakerja Library (@katakerja) to promote library services, discussion or class activities, memberships, collections, merchandise, room corners, and visitor fot its library followers. Meanwehile  There are obstacles faced by the library, namely the lack of team coordination so that it has an impact on uploads that do not run smoothly and there is no budgat for managing Instagram in promoting the library.
