Abstract

Perkesmas merupakan upaya program pengembangan puskesmas yang kegiatannya terintegrasi dalam upaya kesehatan wajibdan upaya kesehatan pengembangan lainnya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan kompetensi perawat puskesmasdan tingkat keterlaksanaan kegiatan perkesmas di Kota Pontianak. Desain penelitian adalah analitik korelasi secara crosssectional dengan sampel 118 perawat. Analisis data dengan Chi-Square, uji t independen, dan regresi logistik. Hasil analisismenunjukkan adanya hubungan antara kompetensi perawat puskesmas dan tingkat keterlaksanaan kegiatan perkesmas (p=0,000; α= 0,05). Lebih lanjut diketahui bahwa terdapat interaksi antara kompetensi dan pelatihan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikanpeningkatan kompetensi perawat guna keoptimalan pelaksanaan perkesmas melalui pelatihan, pembinaan melalui tim yangditugasi, ataupun kerja sama dengan teman sejawat serta memberikan dukungan berupa kebijakan untuk penghargaan dansanksi seperti jenjang karir perawat.

Abstract

Indonesia continues to experience nutritional problems across all age groups, including adolescents.. High consumption of instant noodles and the prevalence of a sedentary lifestyle can impact adolescents' nutritional status. Healthy adolescents are an investment in the nation's future; therefore, it is crucial to maintain good nutrition by regulating consumption patterns and activity levels. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between instant noodles consumption, physical activity, and nutritional health among adolescents. This quantitative research utilized a cross-sectional approach, with 112 respondents from grades 7 and 8 at MTs Al-Madani Pontianak selected via total sampling method, meeting both exclusion and inclusion criteria. Data were collected using a food frequency questionnaire and a physical activity questionnaire. Statistical analysis employed Kendall Tau test to understand the association between instant noodles consumption, physical activity, and nutritional status. The bivariate analysis results showed a significance value of p (0.292) for the frequency of instant noodles consumption and nutritional status, and p (0.709) for physical activity and nutritional status. The study's findings indicated no significant relationship.

Abstract

Introduction: Emotional intelligence is an important skill that health professionals such as nurses must possess. Emotional intelligence leads to mental health, self-care, and job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of emotional intelligence of nurses in the hospital, which consists of components of self-awareness, emotional management, motivation, empathy, and skills. Research Methodology: The research method was a quantitative survey involving 111 associate nurses from 10 treatment rooms selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a nurse characteristics questionnaire and an emotional intelligence questionnaire. Result: The results showed that the characteristics of the respondents were primarily female. Namely, 70 nurses (63.1%) and the level of education in the nursing profession was higher than the Diploma but not much different, namely 59 and 50 respondents, respectively. The average age of respondents is 31 years, and the average length of work is 6.54 years. The results of nurses' emotional intelligence are at a high level, namely as much as 70.3%; high emotional intelligence can support the ability of nurses to provide nursing services. Nurses must consider emotional intelligence development. Conclusion: This can have a good impact on the nursing services provided. Nurses will reach bio-psycho-social and spiritual well-being. Implementing EI in nursing practice within inpatient wards is essential for enhancing the quality of care provided to patients and the well-being of nursing staff. Investing in training programs that foster emotional intelligence could significantly improve healthcare outcomes, reduce burnout, and create a more supportive work environment.
