Abstract

School education is expected to improve the quality of education. In improving the quality ofeducation, educational institutions use quality management system. Quality ManagementSystem (SMM) which has been implemented by SMA Negeri 2 Bangko, Rokan Hilir Regencyis SMM ISO 9001: 2008. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of SMMISO 9001:2008 on Biology learning in SMA Negeri 2 Bangko, Rokan Hilir Regency. This typeof research includes field research field (field research) by using quantitative and qualitativeresearch. This research consists of: 1) dependent variable (Y): Biology learning 2)Independent variable (X): SMM ISO 9001: 2008. Data were analyzed using linearregression.There is an effect of variable quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 toBiology Learning. That is, the better the conditions of implementation of ISO 9001: 2008quality management system, then the Biology Learning will increase. Conversely the lowerthe implementation of ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system then Biology learning willalso decrease.

Abstract

The principal is required to have inner skills. That ability will determine whether or not education succeeds on going learning at school. In addition, the principal should also pay attention to the work satisfaction of teachers in the work environment. The purpose of this research is to know 1) to know the influence of managerial skill to job satisfaction of Private Junior High School teachers in Pekanbaru City, 2) to know the influence of leadership capability of headmaster to job satisfaction of junior high school teacher of Pekanbaru City, 3) to know the effect of managerial training and leadership of the principal together towards the job satisfaction of Private Junior High School teachers in Pekanbaru City. This research is a quantitative research with the determination of respondents apply Solvin formula as many as 93 respondents with subject of Private Junior High School as Pekanbaru City. Data type is primary data and secondary data. Data processing methods with editing, coding, scoring process. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The findings of this study include 1) positive managerial skills to teacher work satisfaction of 0.232 or equivalent to 23.2%; 2) leadership ability of headmaster positively influence to job satisfaction of teacher equal to 0,342 or equal to 34,2%; 3) managerial and leadership skills of principals together have a significant positive effect on the dependent variable of job satisfaction of teachers in private Junior High School Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Malaria is a disease caused by Plasmodium parasites. Year 2007 people infected with malaria District Sungai Mandau 57.37 per 1000 population. This study aims to determine ecological factors that affect the habitat of the Anopheles mosquito larvae in the village of Muara Kelantan District Sungai Mandau, Siak Regency in 2009. Depth of water, water flow, mud bottom, thecolor of brown waters, and temperature, salinity, pH water,and humidity on the waters in the village of Muara Kelantan suited for the life of the larvae of Anopheles spp. This is supported bythe density of mosquito larvae of Anopheles spp calm in the gutter, the gutter flow and swampland in succession 0,006 ind/ml, 0,078 ind/ml, and 0,004 ind/ml respectively.

Abstract

Perumahan dan permukiman merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dasarmanusia dalam rangka peningkatan dan pemerataan kesejahteraan rakyat.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembangunan danpengembangan perumahan dan kawasan permukiman Kota Serang, ProvinsiBanten. Penelitian yang digunakan melalui pendekatan studi kasus (casestudy approach). Rancangan penelitian yaitu penelitian eksplanatori.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus sampai Desember2017 diProvinsi Banten. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas dataprimer dan dan sekunder dengan metode pengumpulan data melaluiobservasi, wawancara terstruktur, FGD dan metode pustaka. Analisisproyeksi penduduk mengunakan metode pertumbuhan pendudukeksponensial. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara analisis Geospasial dandeskriptif. Strategi pengembangan PKP di Provinsi Banten saat ini sangatditentukan oleh kebutuhan hunian masyarakat baik untuk kebutuhan pribadimaupun untuk kebutuhan investasi. Arah pengembangan PKP di ProvinsiBanten pada tahun 2030 sesuai RTRW, maka beberapa kota harus mulaimengembangkan permukiman di wilayah sekitarnya dan ataumengembangkanpermukiman dengan konsep vertikal dan berbasis TODseperti Kota Tangerang Selatan dan Kota Tangerang.
