Abstract

This research  to find out the magnitude of the effect of the use of inputs both simultaneously and partially and the level of price efficiency in the use of inputs in the technical  lowland rice farming in the Kasemen District and pumping systems in the Carenang District. Simple random sampling method as a method for sampling. The number of respondents for the technical irrigated paddy farmers in  Kasemen District was 44 farmers, and for the pumping paddy farmers in Carenang District the same amounted to 44 farmers. The data processing method is to use Cobb-Douglas production function analysis and price efficiency. Based on theresults of the study showed 1) in the F test (simultaneous), the use of land area, seeds, labor and urea fertilizer had a significant effect on the production of lowland rice both in Kasemen and Carenang Districts. 2) by t test (partial), the use of inputs that significantly influence the production of lowland rice in Kasemen District and in Carenang District namely urea fertilizer, land area and seeds. 3) The level of efficiency for technical irrigation systems is know to use land area inputs of 1.28 (not efficient), seeds of 18.55 (not efficient), labor of 0.11 (inefficient) and urea fertilizer of 14.45 (not efficient). Meanwhile, for pumping paddy farming, it is known that the level of efficiency of the use of inputs is land area of 3.22 (not efficient), seeds of 8.31 (not efficient), labor of 0.45 (inefficient) and urea fertilizer of 20.55 (not efficient).

Abstract

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic that hit parts of the world at a macro level devastated the economic system, both large economies and the home economy were also affected by this event. This study aims to determine (1) the factors that influence the independence of women in home industry, and (2) the dominant factors that influence the independence of women in the home industry in Pandeglang Regency due to covid 19. This research was carried out in Pandeglang Regency with 152 respondents. all of which are women who run the melinjo emping home industry on a daily basis. The research design uses an explorative design. The types of data used are qualitative data and quantitative data. The subject of the research is a cottage industry managed by rural women, and the object is the independence factor of the cottage industry. The data needed in this study are data on family support, access to capital, entrepreneurial ability, and business scale, as well as internal factors and social networks, government support and access to information as external factors. The results showed that the independence of women home industry players in Pandeglang Regency during the Covid 19 pandemic was in the moderate category, there were two factors that influenced the independence of women in the home industry in Pandeglang Regency, namely: (1) internal factors, and (2) external factors. The most dominant factors influencing the independence of women in the home industry in Pandeglang Regency are internal factors, which include: business scale, access to capital, and business ability, while external factors that influence include others; social networks and access to information. Meanwhile, government support and family support have little effect on the independence of women in home industry in Pandeglang Regency.

Abstract

This study tries to see how social capital plays a role in moving society so as to make people unite to achieve common goals based on unity, and is limited by the values and norms that grow and adhere to, as well as social relations inherent in social structures and social networks in a society. Community that makes it big. Various social obligations, create a climate of mutual trust, carry information channels, and establish social norms and sanctions for community members. In social capital, where trust is built from hope, honesty, and cooperative behavior that emerges from within a community based on the norms shared by members and is expected to be a solution in overcoming the consequences of the crisis. The population in this study consisted of rice farmers, community leaders, and government officials from 4 selected villages as samples. While the number of respondents was 98 people, consisting of 88 rice farmers, 4 community leaders, 4 village officials, and 2 officials. Research variables include studies of economics, socio-cultural, demographics, rice farmers, and the effectiveness of social capital. Collecting data using focus group discussions (FGD) with respondents, and field observations. The results show that the values of trust in social capital are dominant as the basis for rural communities to be used as a basis for improving other functions, such as increasing respect and mutual benefit. Problems in optimization problems concern the nature of social capital, human resource problems, and management problems. The main problem in optimizing the role of social capital in rural areas is the need for support from various stakeholders, and the demands of rural communities regarding the importance of mentoring programs to improve the competence of rural communities by improving farming skills, and increasing agricultural diversification. In addition, the need for transformational leadership support to increase the optimization of the role of social capital.

Abstract

Kuliner tradisional merupakan cerminan identitas kultural yang diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi oleh masyarakat lokal, termasuk masyarakat Batak Toba di wilayah Sumatera Utara. Namun, seiring laju modernisasi dan derasnya arus globalisasi, antusiasme masyarakat khususnya kalangan muda terhadap kekayaan kuliner daerah mulai memudar. Menanggapi fenomena ini, food photography dipilih sebagai sarana kreatif untuk merevitalisasi daya tarik makanan khas Batak Toba melalui visualisasi yang estetis dan inovatif. Salah satu pendekatan visual yang digunakan adalah teknik levitasi, yaitu teknik pemotretan yang menciptakan ilusi visual seolah objek mengambang di udara. Teknik ini dinilai efektif dalam menghidupkan elemen artistik serta membangun ketertarikan visual terhadap objek makanan. Proses penciptaan karya ini mengacu pada metode penciptaan seni menurut I Made Bandem, yang meliputi lima tahapan penting: perencanaan, elaborasi, sintesis, realisasi, dan tahap penyelesaian. Teknik levitasi dalam karya ini diterapkan secara manual, tanpa melalui proses editing digital, serta memanfaatkan peralatan sederhana. Karya yang dihasilkan tidak hanya menampilkan keindahan visual makanan, tetapi juga menyampaikan pesan budaya yang kuat melalui narasi visual. Dengan pendekatan ini, fotografi diharapkan mampu menjadi media strategis dalam pelestarian serta promosi kuliner tradisional Batak Toba secara kreatif, komunikatif, dan relevan dengan perkembangan zaman.
