Abstract

The aim of this study is to increase students there is The effect of media mind mapping on the ability to write narrative text at the grade tenth students of SMA N 6 Padangsidimpuan. The method of this research is experimental method. The population of research is 320 respondents and the sample of the research with the cluster sampling of six classes. While the samples taken were 38 students by voting each class. after being voting out as a sample class X-6. To get the results of this study the writer compared the mean pretreatment using media mind mapping and after using media mind mapping in learning to write Narrative Texts. After carrying out the collection and analysis of the score of the ability to write Narrative Text before using media mind mapping the mean was found to be 64.21. If converted to predetermined ability criteria, the mean includes the criteria for 'less'. Learning completeness reaches 65.79% or has not achieved minimal completeness classically as expected, namely a minimum of 75%. While the mean test results of the ability to write Narrative Text after using mind mapping media amounted to 82.63. The mean is included as a good criterion, while the entire sample is declared complete learning. Based on the statistical calculation obtained tcount is 12.61. The amount of data is 38 so db = 38-1 = 37. For t 0.95% there is no distribution for N 37, which is found is t table for N 30 of 1.70 and N 40 of 1.68. Thus for N 37 is 1.70 + 1.68: 2 = 1.69. Ho is tcount > 1.69. Because tcount > t tabel if Ho is rejected or in other words it can be said that the hypothesis reads: there is an influence of media mind mapping on the ability to write Narrative Texts in class X of SMA Negeri 6 Padangsisimpuan accepted the truth. Whereas the null hypothesis reads: there is no effect of media mind mapping on the ability to write Narrative Texts in class X of the Padangsisimpuan Public High School 6 rejected because it is not proven.

Abstract

The injectable contraceptive method is the most widely used, followed by pills from 1991 until now. The prevalence of injection contraceptive use in 2015 and 2016 increased from 52.6% to 53.6%. While the percentage of long-term contraceptive use (IUD, implant, and MOW) is below 10%. Factors that influence contraceptive use are age, education, knowledge, number of living children, availability of contraception, support from health workers, husband and wife agreement and side effects. Health worker support can be applied by providing information about family planning. This study analyzes the relationship of providing information with injectable contraceptive use in Indonesia. The cross-sectional study used PMA2020 survey data conducted in May-October 2015. The sample of the study was WUS which was selected by a two-stage randomized method, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 3,621 respondents. Multivariate analysis was used namely logistic regression by considering variables of age, parity, and education. The use of WUS counterparts is high on injections. Providing information to WUS about contraception more than 60% gets bad information. Proper information on WUS has a chance of 1.15 times greater use of injectable contraception than WUS with poor information, with a p-value of 0.046. The effect of giving information with the good category is 1.28 times more likely to use injection contraception than WUS by giving bad information after considering other variables (age, parity, and education). The provision of information on WUS needs to be increased by health workers/family planning officers because providing complete information to prospective users can help clients choose contraceptive methods that are appropriate to their conditions.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to increase students there is the comperative of demonstration and TPS methosd in teaching procedure textat the grade seventh students of SMP N 4 Padangsidimpuan. The method of this research is experimental method. The population of research is 320 respondents and the sample of the research with the cluster sampling is 80 respondents. The data was collected by giving the test for both methods that contains 20 items for test. The result of analyzes data get the mean of variable X is 72,5 with the category “good” and the mean of variable Y is 66,5 with the category “enaough”. The calculationofttest is 3.02 and ttableis 2.00 , it can be seen from samples are 80 students where N1 = 40 students and N2 = 40 students. So, df (N1+N2)-2 = (40+40)-2 = 80-2 = 78. Thus, the score of ttable 2.00 of 5% significant degree. The result of the analyzed data shows the score of ttest> ttable= 3.02> 2.00. ). In other words, the score of ttest is higher than ttable. It can be stated that there is a significant comparison between demonstration and dThink pair sharemethods in teaching procedure text at the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Padang sidimpuan.
