Abstract

The development of accounting is related to manipulating financial performance. Accounting includes organizations, certification profession, and financial reporting standards in that country. Financial shenanigans is an action planned to manipulate the financial performance of a company which consists of seven categories. This article describes a comparison between the development of accounting for Indonesia and Singapore, and an analysis of seven financial shenanigans in manipulating financial performance Blumont Group Ltd, a business service company located in Singapore, where was involved in a case of very high new share price manipulation with two listed Singapore companies, Asiasons Capital Ltd and LionGold Corp Ltd in 2013. The research method explains based on facts in Singapore and the financial statements 2016-2020 of Blumont Group Ltd. The results explain that there isn’t evidence that the Blumont Group Ltd company does shenanigans one, two, four, five, six and seven, but was found to practice shenanigans three. Abstract

Garbage is a part of human life that’s an object/remaining substance that’s no longer useful. Waste should receive attention and serious treatment. However, due to the lack of understanding from the community and the government, insufficient funding and revenue of the majority of community, hence this waste problem has been neglected. Today, most people have already understood the problems that may be caused by the garbage, for instance floods, diseases and smell that can disrupt the daily lives of our community. However, this isn’t accompanied by the action of the people themselves. The purpose of this study is to spread public awareness on how to properly treat waste and how to distinguish types of organic and inorganic waste. This study is also to find out the benefits that can be obtained from waste, build a healthy environment that’s free from pollution, and find a solution to environmental sanitation, specifically rural waste management. This research was conducted at Tanjung Uncang RT 01 RW 15. Research data collection was done based on our observations. The result obtained from the research shows a lack of action from Tanjung Uncang community against waste. From the research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that the people of Tanjung Ucang have good knowledge about waste but bad behavior towards garbage management, mostly due to the lack of attention from the local government who are supposed to be able to handle waste problems.

Abstract

PT Karya Mura Niaga is a company engaged in trading computer equipment that was founded in July 2018 and officially operated since January 2019. PT Karya Mura Niaga is a relatively new company, thus the company still does not have a well-established accounting system and relies on the use Microsoft Excel to manually record transactions. The purpose of this project was to develop and design an accurate and reliable accounting record system that can be implemented by PT Karya Mura Niaga to record transactions in accordance with Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Entitas Tanpa Akuntabilitas Publik (SAK-ETAP) and the currently enforced regulations by utilizing Microsoft Office Access. The implementation method was done by conducting interviews, observations, documentations, system design and simulation of the system implementation in the company for a duration of three months, starting from 1st September until 31th December 2021. The results of the implementation of this system are personalized recording system for the company, easier, faster and more accurate preparation of financial statements, ease in decision making, more accurate stock reporting and due-date reporting. This system is simple and can be applied in small entities company. For future projects, the system features can be improved and increased in complexity than that in this project, thus it can be implemented by larger companies.
