Abstract

Work efficiency and service quality improvement are two important things in competing with other businesses. Keep costs as low as possible with a satisfactory quality of service, can be optimized through the use of technology. One type of business that has the potential to be improved quality of service is a document copying services as implemented in Binus University. In addition to the staff and lecturers, students need the service for various types of documents such as copying lecture materials and other administrative documents. By leveraging the technology capabilities possessed by a photocopy machine to connect to a network computer, a system that supports the printing of documents through the Internet can be made. The online printing system is web-based, and capable of storing printing information into a database, so records can provide tracking information, which affects the quality of service and good performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the websites managed by individuals, companies and governments. The test results would be useful for managers to pay more attention to the quality of the website optimally through several perspectives: accessibility, experience, marketing and technology. The research used samples from 350 websites and the data were divided into seven categories, namely: website managed by SMEs (small and medium), website of universities, website of governments, e-commerce, news websites, website of industrial companies, and website of non-profit organization. We used Nibler as the testing tool to facilitate the assessment process. Data were analyzed using WEKA presented in the form of a decision tree. The results showed that the tested websites had an average value of 4.66 or worse (scale 1-10). The conclusion is that the manager of the website should perform repairs on the data and applications, in particular in the perspective of technology, accessibility and experience.

Abstract

This study aims to create a system that can support the implementation of the accreditation of the Hospital (RS) in Indonesia. Successful implementation of hospital accreditation in Indonesia is still far from the target that has been set, this is due to the geographical location factors and the limited availability of infrastructure. For successful implementation of this accreditation, it must be supported by a web-based application, which can be accessed by interested parties, such as the manager of the hospital, Surveyor, Commission on Hospital Accreditation Secretariat (KARS) and people who want to see the results of hospital accreditation. The proposed system is a system design that is capable of storing transaction data assessment, in accordance with the standards of the assessment element KARS. Documenting assessment can be made online or offline through the use of an excel file with a standardized format. Monitoring the implementation of accreditation can be determined quickly and accurately through the system reports. To find out the needs of the system, in-depth study conducted through interview techniques, analysis of documents and procedures that are running, as well as through discussion forums with the management team Surveryor KARS and Accreditation System. The data collected will be analyzed dengen Six Sigma method. The design of the system is described in the form of a data flow diagram, activity diagram and design Entity Relation Diagram (ERD). The proposed system will have an impact on improving the cost efficiency of infrastructure, data integration, accessibility and ease of monitoring the implementation of accreditation as well as guarantee the availability of data.

Abstract

By utilizing technology, exchange of data and information can be done easily without any limitation of time and geographical location. One type of business that have the potential to be improved quality of service is a document copying services as implemented in Binus University. In addition to the staff and lecturers, students need the service for various types of documents such as doubling the lecture materials and other administrative documents from softcopy to hardcopy documents. With the number of customers that so many frequent long queues, sometimes the officer / operator overwhelmed and not a few customers who feel disappointed. By leveraging the technology capabilities possessed by a photocopy machine to connect to a network computer, it can be made a system that supports the printing of documents through the Internet, so as to reduce queues and accountable system of administrative procedures. Users can monitor the status of printing the document, whether in a state of waiting, the document is printed or printing the document is complete. Each time the user performs printing, the computer used does not need a printer driver installation process, and the system can be developed to validate the adequacy of the deposit of funds that have been recorded in the database. This paper describes the Online Printing System web-based, and are capable of storing the printing information into a database system, so that records can provide tracking information, which affects the quality of service and performance is excellent.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu model peningkatan mutu layanan kepada stakeholder melaluipendekatan Six Sigma. Six Sigma merupakan metode pengendalian proses/kualitas suatu produk atau layanan yang benarbenardibutuhkan dengan biaya yang optimum. Penerapan metode six sigma melalui beberapa tahapan yang biasa disebutDMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improvement and Control). Salah satu contoh penerapan Six Sigma adalah padalayanan Sistem Absensi Online di BINUS UNIVERSITY, yang berdampak pada penghematan biaya, rantai proses yangsemakin pendek dan peningkatan kepuasan stakeholder. Untuk memudahkan pengukuran proses dan penggambarantahapan IPO (input, process, output) maka dibutuhkan alat bantu dari elemen diagram SIPOC (Supplier, Input, Process,Output, Customer).

Abstract

Flight simulation games are one of the many new technologies that have emerged due to the development of digital games and current gamification technologies. Flight simulation games released by several developers are currently still standalone and cannot be connected to each other. An online flight simulation system has been developed to be able to link and connect between flight simulation game developers, so that users can connect with each other and make the simulation more real. The present online flight simulation system can make flight simulator games into more serious games, but it still has a issues, such as people who rarely utilize the system. The purpose of this research is to find out and identify the factors of net benefits using flight simulation online system by using modification of the DeLone and McLean and UTAUT2 models conducting PLS-SEM analysis. Respondents in this study were users who had used the system with a total of 366 respondents. The results of this study show that System Quality, Service Quality, Effort Expectancy and Social Influence do not have a significant impact on System Use, then Information Quality and Perceived Enjoyment have a positive and significant impact on System Use, then Service Quality does not have a significant impact on User Satisfaction, then Information Quality and System Quality has a positive and significant impact on User Satisfaction, then System Use and User Satisfaction have a positive and significant impact on Net Benefits.
