Abstract

Abstrak: Sekolah merupakan salah satu sarana pendidikan formal yang harus dapat memberikan pelayanan atau fasilitas terbaik untuk siswa-siswinya dan juga kepada orang tua. Salah satu cara yang tepat adalah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk mengakses informasi akademik melalui website agar lebih mudah dan cepat. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan yaitu metode Waterfall. Perancangan sistem informasi akademik berbasis web dapat memberikan pelayanan optimal kepada siswa-siswi dan orang tua sehingga tidak perlu datang ke sekolah untuk mendapatkan informasi akademik karena hanya perlu mengakses website melalui internet, siswa- siswi dan orang tua dapat langsung melihat informasi akademik, sehingga dihasilkan informasi yang cepat dan akurat. Kata kunci: Akademik, Internet, Sekolah, Sistem Informasi, Website Abstract: School is one of the formal education facilities that must be able to provide the best service or facilities for students and also for parents. One appropriate way is to use information technology to access academic information through websites to make it easier and faster. The software development method used is the Waterfall method. The design of web-based academic information systems can provide optimal services to students and parents so there is no need to come to school to obtain academic information because only need to access the website through the internet, students and parents can immediately see academic information, so that information is generated fast and accurate.
