Abstract

Diabetes mellitus, a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar levels as a result of insulin insufficiency. This is due to a disruption in the definition of insulin production, the beta cells of the pancreas gland are due to the lack of responsiveness of the body's cells to insulin. Chronic wounds that are difficult to heal due to disruption of wound healing by systemic, local and other factors so that the wound does not heal with normal wound healing time. Chronic wounds occur because primary healing is delayed and repeated over a period of time. This research is a descriptive study, the aim of which is to look at "Factors That Inhibit The Healing Process Of Diabetes Mellitus Wounds At Melati Hospital. Perbaungan 2019, using a total sampling of 30 respondents, obtained results with old wound healing based on the majority age> 45 years as many as 25 people (83.3%), based on the majority gender based on female gender as many as 21 people (70%) The majority of treatment duration was based on length of treatment> 20 weeks as many as 20 people (66.6%), based on the majority of wound stages based on stage III-IV as many as 21 people (70%). Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that health workers provide information about the factors that hinder the healing process of diabetes mellitus wounds

Abstract

Luka diabetik adalah kondisi medis yang ditandai dengan luka cekung yang lama, tidak menyembuh, dengan pembengkakan dan berbatas tegas. Pada pasien diabetes cendrung terjadi penyakit arteri perifer, suatu kondisi dimana terjadi penyumbatan pembuluh darah ditungkai dan neuropati perifer, suatu kondisi dimana terjadi kerusakan saraf-saraf pada tungkai akibat kadar gula darah yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk Mengetahui Bagaimana Gambaran Efektifitas Perawatan Luka Diabetik Menggunakan Modern Dressing dan Konvesional di Asri Wound Care Center Medan dan R.S.U. Martha Friska Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 4 responden, 2 responden sebagai kelompok intervensi dan 2 responden sebagai kelompok kontrol. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Total Sampling. Dari hasil penelitian Dari data demografi responden berdasarkan jenis kelamin ditemukan mayoritas adalah laki-laki berjumlah 3 responden (75%) dan minoritas adalah perempuan berjumlah 1 responden (25%). Berdasarkan umur dan frekuensi terbanyak ada pada rentang umur responden 41-60 tahun yang berjumlah 3 responden (75%) dari 4 responden penelitian. Pada kelompok intervensi didapat nilai frekuensi 2 responden (100%) sembuh. Sedangkan pada kelompok Kontrol didapatkan hasil frekuensi 1 responden (50%) tidak sembuh. Dengan melihat hasil dari penelitian ini,peneliti merekomendasikan kepada tim kesehatan yang melakukan perawatan khususnya di tempat pelayanaan kesehatan harus lebih memahami dan mengetahui konsep perawatan luka dengan menggunakan terapi Modern Dressig tepat guna. Hal ini dikarenakan Modern Dressing sangat efektif untuk mempercepat fase penyembuhan luka.
