Abstract

Pengaruh kombinasi dosis pupuk majemuk NPK Phonska dan pupuk N terhadappertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi sawah varietas IR 64 telah dilakukan dilahan sawah milik UPP-SDA Hayati, Jatinangor, Kabupaten Sumedang dari bulanMei sampai bulan Agustus 2001. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendapatkandosis terbaik dari kombinasi pupuk majemuk NPK Phonska dan pupuk N padatanaman padi sawah di Jatinangor Sumedang. Rancangan yang digunakan adalahRancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan sembilan perlakuan dan masing-masingdiulang tiga kali. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemupukandengan 700 kg/ha Phonska menyebabkan tanaman padi sawah mempunyaitinggi tanaman rata-rata yang paling tinggi pada umur 6-12 minggu setelai tanam(mst) Perlakuan dengan 400 kg/ha Phonska + 152 kg/ha urea jugamenyebabkan tanaman padi sawah mempunyai rata-rata jumlah anakan yangpaling tinggi pada umur 8, 10 dan 12 minggu setelah tanam. Rata-rata jumlahmalai per rumpun, jumlah gabah per malai, indeks panen, bobot 1000 butir, hasilgabah kering panen per hektar (7,50 ton) dan hasil gabah kering giling per hektar(6,17 ton) yang paling tinggi dihasilkan oleh tanaman padi sawah yang diberiperlakuan dengan 300 kg/ha Phonska + 333 kg/ha ZA.Kata kunci : Pupuk majemuk, phonska, NPK, oryza sativa L

Abstract

A pilot project of one constructed subsurface flow wetlands to treat sewage fromfamily Subandi house has been built in Bandung Indonesian in February 1999.The water samples from both influent and effluent (COD, BOD5, NO3-N, NO2-N, NH4-N, PO4-P, pH, and settleable solids, and O2) were taken twice a month and analyzed. Fecal coliforms bacteria was determined by MPN method. Theobjective of this study was to install one constructed subsurface flow wetlandswith vertical flow to treat sewage from private house. The treatment efficiencyof this constructed wetlands was already relatively high, although this constructed wetlands was just only eleven months in operation. The results were very promising and give a possibility of constructed wetlands to be installed anddeveloped in tropical countries, especially in Indonesia, as a viable alternative to conventional wastewater technology, because this system is and simple and cost effective.Keywords: Constructed wetlands, wastewater treatment, conventional system, subsurface flow
