Abstract

Academic procrastination behavior often occurs, will cause problems of lack of discipline, low motivation, and depletion of self-confidence. Self-confidence is a very important factor for students, because the attitude of self-confidence will make students feel that there is confidence in their abilities, optimism, objectivity, responsibility, rationality and reality, which then feel able or not to do academic tasks that become performance. The results of the level of self-confidence of students of the Community Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Riau University are at a moderate level. Academic procrastination of students of the community education study program, Faculty of Education and teacher training, University of Riau is at a moderate level. There is a significant relationship between self-confidence and academic procrastination of community education study program students.Keywords: Academic procrastination behavior, self-confidence,

Abstract

This research was conducted at the early childhood education Bunda KreatifDumai City in 2015 by using qualitative research methods. The research data was obtainedthrough interviews, observation and documentation study. The informants in this study DumaiCity Department of Education/Supervisors, Principals, teachers, pupils and the Mayor of theSchool Committee. This study was conducted to analyze in depth about the success of earlychildhood Bunda Kreatif Dumai City in implementing the learning process as the educator ofintelligence generation at an early age where various achievements obtained include: ChampionCluster best level of Riau Province in 2015, the first winner of environmentally sound best levelDumai City as 4 times in a row, Guru achievement represents Dumai in Riau Province to thelevel of 2015, the principal as well as the chairman of the steering committee for the ClusterWorking Group Principal (CWGP) Dumai city and the only park early childhood education whohave education consultant.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang leadership style pengurus organisasi IPMAKA (Ikatan Pelajar Mahasiswa Kandis) di Kecamatan Kandis Kabupaten Siak, yang meliputi: gaya kepemimpinan Pengurus Organisasi Ikatan Pelajar Mahasiswa Kandis di Kecamatan Kandis Kabupaten Siak dan daya tarik penyelesaian masalah kepemimpinan organisasi IPMAKA. Penelitian ini memiliki 4 indikator yaitu: (1)bentuk mempengaruhi Demokratis, (2)bentuk mepengaruhi Otokratis, (3)bentuk mempengaruhi paternalistik, (4)bentuk mempengaruhi Laissez faire. Dalam studi yang dilakukan ini, penulis menggunakan cara kualitatif bersama strategi deskriptif diterapkan guna memiliki situasi serta keadaan yang memang nyata. Studi ini ingin memiliki suatu pencapaian dalam bentuk pengetahuan yang dianilisis melalui bentuk mempengaruhi pemimpin Pengurus di Organisasi IPMAKA (Ikatan Pelajar Mahasiswa Kandis) yang terletak di Kecamatan Kandis, Kabupaten Siak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sudah berjalan cukup baik, namun sebagian pengurus organisasi IPMAKA ada yang masih belum memahami fungsi dan tugasnya dalam menjalankan organisasi. This study addreses the leadership style of the IPMAKA (Kandis Student Association) organizational management in Kandis District, Siak Regency, including: the leadership style of the Kandis Student Association Management Organization in Kandis District, Siak Regency, and solving problems in the leadership of the IPMAKA organization. That it has been explained in the field results that there is a history of the formation of IPMAKA to the implementation of new management from the old and new periods at IPMAKA, there is an attraction for the authors to examine this study by seeing that there is an unusual problem solving in an organization. This study has 4 indicators, namely: (1) the form of influencing the Democratic, (2) the form of influencing the Autocratic, (3) the form of influencing the paternalistic, (4) the form of influencing Laissez faire. In this study, the author uses a qualitative method along with a descriptive strategy to apply real situations and circumstances. This study wants to have an achievement in the form of knowledge which is analyzed through influencing the leaders of the Management at the IPMAKA Organization (Kandis Student Association) located in Kandis District, Siak Regency.
