Abstract

The strategy used by the teacher is the teacher’s efforts to make learning activities more active and effective. Therefore, a pictorial conversation strategy is chosen to make the learning activities can be planned in detail by utilizing the experience, stimuli and senses of students who are able to bring the student’s imagination to the new vocabulary they have learned. Thus, this strategy can be a means for teachers and students to expand all innovation, creativity and freedom of expression of the forms of conversation that students want to give the new vocabulary to be learned. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method with the following steps; (1) Observation; (2) design of teaching plans; (3) implementation; (4) supervision; (5) reflection; (6) evaluation. This research was conducted in Nurul Islam elementary school in Sukodono-Sidoarjo, East Java. The purpose of this study is, (1) to uncover the pictorial conversation strategy in solving problems of students who have difficulty in remembering the vocabulary that has been learned; (2) fostering interest in reading and speaking in Arabic, because this strategy is equipped with images that will attract student’s attention, and (3) knowing how effective this strategy can be used in the world of education, especially in the process of learning Arabic.

Abstract

The book al-‘Arabiyah al-mu’â?irah is an Arabic learning book designed that Arabic learners can master how to communicate in various conditions using modern Arabic. This study uses qualitative methods that emphasize the nature of research, data that comes from the reality in the field. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observations, interviews and documents in collecting data to be able to find out more about the problem, so that a problem solving can be arranged in accordance with the needs of the respondents. This study uses purposive sampling, sampling taken with certain reasons. Sampling taken by researchers is students of college who never studied Arabic before entering the Sunan Ampel UIN Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the application dictionary used by the teacher as a teaching companion from the book al-‘Arabiyah al-mu’â?irah.

Abstract

Arabic in Indonesia is not only the language of religion, inheritance and civilization but also the language of communication between Arabic instructors or between Arabic students. In addition, Arabic is also daily language used in boarding schools that are scattered throught the regions in Indonesia. Arabic always develops according to the times. So, all Arabic instructors must also improve their competence. Madrasah Al-Sun education institutions seemed to be a solution for all Arabic language teachers in Indonesia, because the Madrasah Al-Sun used a special strategy in its teaching, namely Uslub Al-Sun. By using Uslub Al-Sun, the instructor is able to learn more deeply about Islamic civilization and is able to master contemporary vocabulary due to active discussions conducted. This study uses qualitative methods so that researchers get more in-depth data in accordance with the facts in the foeld about Uslub Al-Sun that is used to improve the teaching competence of Arabic.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan aktivitas pembelajaran dilaksanakan sesuai dengan kebijakan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud). Pelaksanaan kebiasaan baru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan memprioritaskan kesehatan dan keselamatan, Pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan daring dan tatap muka, akan menyulitkan siswa kelas enam tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dalam belajar bahasa Arab, apalagi mereka dihadapkan pada persiapan ujian akhir. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mempersiapkan siswa kelas enam untuk menghadapi ujian akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara tak terstruktur pada guru selaku narasumber dan wawancara terstruktur kepada siswa kelas enam. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Miftahul Ulum Pandanarum, dengan siswa kelas enam sebagai sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MI Miftahul Ulum Pandanarum selama masa new normal dilakukan dengan membagi materi pelajaran bahasa Arab  sesuai dengan sistem pembelajarannya, yaitu pembelajaran daring, pembelajaran tatap muka, dan pembelajaran saat  pelajaran tambahan.

Abstract

The purpose of learning Arabic language for students is to be able to use the Arabic language both orally and textually. Language proficiently (maharah lughawiyah) which is used as a measure of students ability in language is what teachers explore in teaching Arabic. Therefore, this study aims to determine how teachers can improve students’ Araic proficiently through online learning. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques carried out in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The population of this study were all students of 5th grade students MI Ma’arif Pagerwojo from class A to class E, while the sampling technique used was simple random sampling with 94 students as respondents. The results of this study indicate that the four language’s proficienty at MI Ma’arif Pagerwojo are provided by the teacher by optimizing the whatsapp media as a communication tool between teachers and students and videos which used to optimize maharah istima’ as well as provide stimulus to students for optimize maharah kalam, qira’ah, and kitabah Keywords: Arabic language, language proficiency, maharah lughawiyah, online learning

Abstract

The rapid development of 21st century technology forces students to accept various applications and social media platforms as a lifestyle that will become one of the media to show their existence and socialize with peers. The wider reach of the virtual world compared to the real world makes English have very varied functions, such as facilitating communication, capturing target markets/increasing the number of followers, increasing credibility and so on. This study aims to determine the new paradigm that has emerged from various applications and social media platforms that can be used by students to learn English. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with the aim of analyzing the phenomenon of the existence of various social media applications and platforms used by students in everyday life and making them adapt to the English language in it. This study uses purposive sampling as a method of selecting the object of research, young people aged between 17 and 20, totaling 35 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews with two expert sources and respondents, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the applications and social media platforms that they often use as media to learn English are: mobile legend game, Spotify music application, Instagram, Netflix, duolingo, cake application, twitter, and tik tok.

Abstract

The culture of the people in Nusantara (Java) seems to be acculturated with Islam. Both have merged into a distinctive culture with certain characters. This acculturation is related to the preaching of Walisongo, especially Sunan Kalijaga, in spreading Islam in Java. By considering local culture, he preaches Islam by not coercing the community. The local community also welcomed it so that Islam was widespread in Java. Sunan Kalijaga believes that if people already understand Islam, then automatically these old habits will be replaced with better ones. Therefore, it is not surprising that Sunan Kaliaga's teachings tend to be syncretic in introducing Islam by combining Javanese culture and Islamic teachings so that there is harmony between the two. In the end, the syiar of Islam was easily accepted by the community because it accommodated elements of local community values.

Abstract

Abstract Hasil belajar siswa yang rendah membuat peneliti melakukan perbaikan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan penggunaan model pembelajaran STAD dengan media pembelajaran blok pecahan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 083 Pidoli dengan materi penjumlahan pecahan berpenyebut beda. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek siswa kelas IV SDN 083 Pidoli yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara tes tertulis dan pengamatan. Temuan dari penelitian memperlihatkan ada peningkatan pada hasil belajar. Ketuntasan belajar dari 21 siswa pada kondisi awal terdapat 38,1 % pada prasiklus lalu naik menjadi 71, 42 % pada siklus I dan naik secara singnifikan pada siklus II menjadi 90,48 %. Dengan demikian Penelitian ini memperoleh simpulan bahwa dengan model pembelajaran STAD dengan media blok pecahan terjadi peningkatan pada hasil belajar pada siswa kelas IV SDN 083 Pidoli dengan materi penjumlahan pecahan berpenyebut beda. Temuan penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi salah satu cara bagi guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran STAD dengan media blok pecahan untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran di kelas. Kata Kunci: Blok pecahan, model STAD, pembelajaran matematika Abstrak Low student learning outcomes make researchers make learning improvements. This research was carried out using the STAD learning model with fraction block learning media to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 083 Pidoli with material on adding fractions with different denominators. This research is a type of classroom action research with the subject being class IV students at SDN 083 Pidoli, totaling 21 students. Data was collected by means of written tests and observations. Findings from research show that there is an increase in learning outcomes. The learning completeness of the 21 students in the initial condition was 38.1% in the pre-cycle, then rose to 71.42% in the first cycle and increased significantly in the second cycle to 90.48%. Thus, this research concluded that with the STAD learning model using fraction block media there was an increase in learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 083 Pidoli with material on adding fractions with different denominators. The findings of this research can also be a way for teachers to implement the STAD learning model using fraction block media to improve learning outcomes in the classroom. Abstract

Based on pre-reseach conducted by fourth grade students at SDN Sitgede 4, data was obtained that Civics Educations learning was not optimal. This can be seen from the lack of enthusiasm of students during the learning process and less varied learning. Therefore, this research uses the Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model and canva is used as a learning medium. The aim of this research is to determine the development of canva media which is implemented using teh STAD model. The method in ths research and development (RnD). This research was conducted at SDN Situgede, with fourth grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques used in ths research are interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The results of this research indicate that the development of canva media used in learning using the STAD learning model is declared suitable for use. The score from experts regarding the learning model was 90%, the suitability of the material was 87%, and the suitability of the canva media was 92%.     Keywords: canva, learning media, STAD.   Abstrak   Berdasarkan pra penelitian yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas IV SDN Situgede 4 didapatkan data bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) belum maksimal. Hal ini terlihat dari kurang antusiasnya siswa selama proses pembelajaran dan pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran Students Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) dan canva yang digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan media canva yang diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan model STAD. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RnD). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Situgede, dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media canva yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD dinyatakan layak digunakan. Nilai dari pakar ahli tentang model pembelajaran sebesar 90%, kelayakan materi sebesar 87%, dan kelayakan media canva sebesar 92%.

Abstract

Abstrak The Raudlatul Muta'allimin Princess Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Lamongan which combines traditional and modern ways in its learning activities. One of the learning methods used in Islamic boarding schools is the Manhaji method. The Manhaji method is a method that helps to understand the Qur'an in a gradual and structured manner, starting with having to understand the meaning of Al-Mufradat's words, then a series of languages ??in the form of changing the word science of Sharf and the sentence structure of Nahwu science. This Manhaji has a bond that combines traditional Islamic boarding schools with modern Islamic boarding schools, as well as Middle Eastern learning styles. The Manhaji method is used to increase students' understanding of Nahwu Shorof, because the Manhaji method is a method that uses songs as a learning medium that makes it easier for students to learn Nahwu Sharaf. This article aims to inform readers how the application of Nahwu Shorof learning uses songs in the Manhaji method, especially at the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School which applies this method to female students. This research approach is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, analysis, and documentation. The data collected is the result of students' written tests when learning is carried out. The results of this research state that through this manhaji song method students learn nahwu shorof in a pleasant atmosphere and help them to memorize and practice the rules of nahwu shorof in an easier way.
