Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memanfaatkan teknologi RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) dalam pengaturan Absensi kampus untuk mempermudah pencatatan absensi mahasiswa. Berdasarkan data yang ditemukan bahwa pencatatan absensi mahasiswa masih dilakukan secara manual dan penelusuran absensi mahasiswa membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan kurang efektif. Untuk mengurangi permasalahan tersebut, dikembangkan aplikasi menggunakan perangkat RFID Read/Write yang terdiri RFID Reader RC522 dengan frekuensi 13,56MHz dan NodeMCU ESP8266 berfungsi sebagai pemroses keluaran RFID Reader dan sebagai komunikasi dengan server untuk mendapatkan data mahasiswa.Kata Kunci – MFRC522,NodeMCU8266,RFID,Arduino,absensiAbstractThis study aims to utilize technology of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) in campus absence setting to facilitate the recording of college students absence.Based on the data found that the recording of student absence were still done manually and checked it takes a long time and it was less effective.To reduce the problem, the application was developed using RFID Read/ Write device which consist of 13,56 MHz RFID reader and NodeMCU ESP8266, work as output RFID reader and comunication with server to get data of studentKeywords -  MFRC522,NodeMCU8266,RFID,Arduino,Absence
