<![CDATA[ABSTRACT: The relationship between public prejudice against veiled muslim women with social distance.This study or research has the purpose to see the relation between social prejdice to the veiled moslem group with social distance. The subject of the study consist of 80 selected persons based on the Random Sampling. The technical analysis of data applies the normalitiest test and linearitas and corelation test or evalution product moment Karl Pearson use SPSS 16.00 for windows. The corelation test result of both variable indicates that there is the positive relation between the social prejudice and social distance. That is the case the achieved hyphotesis denotes that there is the relationship between the social prejudice, social distance and the hyphotesis acceptance.Keywords : Prejudice, Social Distance, Random Sampling ABSTRAK: Hubungan antara prasangka masyarakat terhadap muslimah bercadar dengan jarak sosial: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara prasangka masyarakat terhadap muslimah bercadar dengan jarak sosial. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 80 orang yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik Random Sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan linearitas serta uji korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson menggunakan SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil uji korelasi kedua variabel menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara prasangka dan jarak sosial.
