This research begins with the observation by the author in SLB Luki Padang, found that mental retardation children who do not know the numbers concept. From the observation of children have not been able to say, show and write the numbers 1-5 well. This research aim to prove that trough the medium of seguin better can improve recognition comprehend the numbers concept for mental retardation’s children in SLB Luki Padang. Research type is single subjet research (SSR) is a research method to see the trend graphs that compare the baseline condition (A) and treatment condition (B). Persuant to result of this research can mean that ability comprehend number concept to cihild with mental retardation of grade DIII/C in SLB Luki Padang mount through seguin bretter media.

This research is motivated by the problems faced by children with Down syndrome in recognizing numbers. The approach used in this study is the experimental approach in the form of single-subject research (single-subject study), using the A-B design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Thus the hypothesis can be accepted. It means power point media effectively to improve the ability to know the rate for Down syndrome child in SLB Luki Padang. It can be concluded that media power point effectively to improve the ability to know the numbers 1 through 5 on Down syndrome.

The research was motivated by the problems that researchers found in the field. Identification and assessment of results, the child has a disorder on the balance runs (usually a straight forward way). Thus the researchers help to improve balance through play clogs. This study aims to prove that by playing clogs can improve balance walking (ordinary road straight ahead) in children Tunagrahita is X. Based on the results of this study shows that the ability to walk the balance (usually a straight forward way) children can be improved through the playing of clogs. At baseline conditions in the seven-time observation dilakuakan children can run balanced in two steps, the intervention conditions increased the ability of the child is a child could run balanced as much as 5 steps. This means that hypothesis is accepted for data analysis between the estimated state has a tendency toward (+), the stability trend variable, the trace data and the increased level changes in a positive and overlope data on the condition of the smaller (0%). This study begins with students mental retardation issue was class D1 SLB Tanjungpinang Affairs, students are not familiar symbol numbers 1 through 5. So to solve this problem, researchers as classroom teachers using flash media card.Methodology This study uses classroom action research organized in the farm collaborate with peers. Subjects in this study were teachers and six students were mental retardation. Data collected by the Observation techniques, test and analyzed with qualitative data analysis techniques. Action to implementation is done in two cycles with ten meetings. At the end of the cycle I and II evaluation.Evaluation results show the ability of the end of the first cycle students to know symbol numbers reached the 51% criterion has not reached the minimum tasan ketun-63. In order for the results obtained in line with expectations, the activities should be continued on the second cycle. After the extension of the action and an evaluation at the end of the second cycle, the data obtained average grade increased to 85%. Based on the analysis of the results of the evaluation cycle I and II, proving that the use of flash media cards can increase the ability to recognize the symbol numbers 1 through 5 for students tunagrahita SLB class D1 State Tanjungpinang. Researchers suggest that the use of flash media cards can be an alternative choice for teachers as well as other media.

This study originated from the problems that I have found in social studies in the classroom D III / C SLB Al Hidayah Padang on regional clothing. Children's are not familiar with the regional clothing. This is because in the absence of the use of learning media that can attract the attention of children in learning. During lesson’s procces just using textbooks and worksheets alone. So that children are less interested in learning and tends to feel less excited even bored. For that we need the media to overcome boredom child. This study aims to introduce clothing Sumatra (West Sumatra, North Sumatra, South Sumatra, Aceh, Jambi) using media in teaching social studies poster child for mild mental retardation D grade III / C SLB Al Hidayah Padang. This research approach desainpre Quasi Experiments with test and post-test group design. The subjects were all children of class III D / C in SLB Al Hidayah Padang, amounting to four people. Collecting research data about isisan receipts test and choice as much as 10 questions and the data obtained were analyzed using the Mann Whitney U test.These results indicate that, Uhit = 1 and at the 95% significance level or alpha = 0.05 obtained Utab = 0 to n = 4. Based on the results of the testing criteria Uhit> Utab, accepted, meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it is proved that the effective use of media is used to introduce the poster area for children clothing mild mental retardation class DIII / C SLB Al Hidayah Padang. Thus the authors suggest to the teacher to select appropriate media and engaging with the learning characteristics of children in the media one poster.
