Abstract

Parenting greatly affects the role and function of the family. The influence of the family in the formation and development of children's personalities is very large because the family is the first social group where children can interact, where children learn, and declare themselves as social beings. The family can also provide the basis for the formation of behavior, character, morals, and education for children. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting and adolescent sexual behavior in Nauli Village, Sigumpar District, Toba District. This study used a descriptive correlation research design . P opulation and the sample in this study were adolescents who live at home with their parents in the village of Nauli. Sampling with simple random sampling. The study was conducted in April 2020, and used a questionnaire consisting of demographic data, a parenting style questionnaire and a youth sexual behavior questionnaire. The research data were tested using the SPSS version 12.0 program using the analyze descriptive and displayed in categorical form. From the results of this study showed that the majority of respondents (76.1%) have a democratic parenting, adolescent sexual behavior of the majority of respondents in the positive category ((95.5%). The analyst is statistics showed that no significant relationship between parenting parents on adolescent sexual behavior p value = 0.223. Based on the results of the research obtained, it is recommended that further research related to the title of this study is suggested to examine other factors that influence adolescent sexual behavior and to use more respondents and research in several different places so that the results are more representative. Abstrak Pola asuh sangat mempengaruhi peran dan fungsi keluarga. Pengaruh keluarga dalam pembentukan dan perkembangan kepribadian anak sangat besar karena keluarga merupakan kelompok sosial yang pertama dimana anak dapat berinteraksi, tempat anak belajar, dan menyatakan dirinya sebagai makhluk sosial. Keluarga juga dapat memberikan dasar pembentukan tingkah laku, watak, moral, dan pendidikan kepada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orangtua terhadap perilaku seksual remaja di Desa Nauli Kec.Sigumpar Kab.Toba. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian korelasi deskriptif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja yang tinggal serumah dengan orangtuanya di Desa Nauli. Pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April 2020, dan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari data demografi, kuesioner pola asuh orangtua dan kuesioner perilaku seksual remaja. Data hasil penelitian di uji menggunakan program SPSS versi 12,0 dengan menggunakan deskriptif analyze dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk kategorik. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa mayoritas responden (76,1%) memiliki pola asuh demokrasi, Perilaku seksual remaja mayoritas responden dalam kategori positif ((95,5%). Analisis statistik diperoleh bahwa hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara pola asuh orangtua terhadap perilaku seksual remaja nilai p = 0,223. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, direkomendasikan untuk penelitian selanjutnya yang berkaitan dengan judul penelitian ini disarankan untuk meneliti faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi perilaku seksual remaja dan menggunakan lebih banyak responden dan meneliti dibeberapa tempat yang berbeda agar hasilnya lebih representatif.

Abstract

Sex education is a clear and correct information regarding the issue of human sexuality, which includes the occurrence of conception, pregnancy, sexual behavior, sexual relations and health, psychological and social aspects. The issue of sexual education provided should be related to the norms prevailing in society, what is prohibited, what is legal and how to do it without violating the rules that apply in society. This study aims to determine the perception of the Batak Toba community about sex education for adolescents in the Parparean III environment, Parparean III Village. This research is descriptive using primary data obtained through a questionnaire. The sample in this study was the Batak Toba people who had teenagers who were obtained using a total sampling technique. From the results of this study obtained data, respondents who have positive perceptions as many as 43 people (81.1%) and negative 10 people (18.9%). Given the importance of sex education for adolescents, it is necessary to coordinate between the government, health workers and the community to unifying perceptions about sex education so that adolescents get clear and correct information about sexuality to improve their reproductive health. Abstrak Pendidikan seks adalah suatu informasi mengenai persoalan seksualitas manusia yang jelas dan benar, yang meliputi terjadinya pembuahan, kehamilan, tingkah laku seksual, hubungan seksual dan aspek-aspek kesehatan, kejiwaaan dan kemasyarakatan. Masalah pendidikan seksual yang diberikan sepatutnya berkaitan dengan norma-norma yang berlaku di masyarakat, apa yang dilarang, apa yang dilazimkan dan bagaimana melakukannya tanpa melanggar aturan-aturan yang berlaku di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat Batak Toba tentang pendidikan seks bagi remaja di Lingkungan Parparean III Kelurahan Parparean III. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan data primer yang didapat melalui kuesioner. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Batak Toba yang memiliki remaja yang didapat menggunakan teknik total sampling. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapat data, responden yang memiliki persepsi positif sebanyak 43 orang (81,1%) dan negatif 10 orang (18,9%).Mengingat pentingnya pendidikan seks bagi remaja, perlu adanya koordinasi antara pemerintah, tenaga kesehatan dan masyarakat untuk menyatukan persepsi mengenai pendidikan seks agar remaja mendapatkan informasi yang jelas dan benar mengenai seksualitas untuk meningkatan kesehatan reproduksinya.

Abstract

Toddler age 12-59 months is a period when children really need nutrients in sufficient and balanced amounts. Lack of nutrients at this time can cause growth disorders. At this time too, the child is still completely dependent on the care and nurturing by his mother and family characteristics. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of family characteristics and parenting patterns on the nutritional status of children under five in Sigumpar Village, Sigumpar District. This type of research is a survey with the type of explanatory research. The population is all mothers who have children under five totaling 52 people. The collection of data on family characteristics, eating patterns using interviews guided by questionnaires and health parenting patterns using interviews guided by questionnaires. The nutritional status of children under five is based on the BB/TB index. Data analysis used multiple logistic regression test at a significance level of 95%. The results showed that the nutritional status of children under five (1-5 years old) based on the BW/TB index was normal (40.4%) and overweight (fat) 59.6%. Family characteristics consisting of knowledge of mothers in the good category 65.4%, higher education 75.0%, family income > 1,200,000 (100%), working mothers (59.6%), eating patterns applied by mothers to children good toddler 55.8%. Likewise, the health pattern of children under five is good 61.5%. There is an effect of parenting (eating and health) on the nutritional status of children under five.
