Abstract

Pada era digital saat ini, banyak sekali industri yang mengalami dampak dari digitalisasi, salah satunya adalah industri surat kabar (koran). Adanya digitalisasi menyebabkan permintaan koran semakin fluktuatif dan sulit diprediksi. Hal ini juga menyebabkan tingkat retur atau pengembalian koran dari agen-agen yang cukup tinggi dan tentu saja akan memberikan kerugian yang cukup besar bagi perusahaan. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan penentuan métode peramalan jumlah permintaan koran yang memiliki tingkat kesalahan terkecil sehingga dapat membantu perusahaan mengurangi kerugian akibat retur koran. Penelitian ini menghitung peramalan permintaan menggunakan beberapa metode antara lain trend line analysis, double exponential smoothing, dan two months moving average. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membandingkan hasil peramalannya dengan penelitian terdahulu yang menggunakan metode ARIMA. Pemilihan metode peramalan yang terbaik dilakukan dengan membandingkan tingkat kesalahan (MAPE) dari tiap-tiap metode kemudian dipilih metode dengan tingkat kesalahan terkecil. Berdasarkan perbandingan yang dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa metode peramalan yang memiliki tingkat kesalahan terkecil adalah metode trend line analysis dengan nilai MAPE sebesar 2,94%. Oleh karena itu, metode peramalan yang terbaik untuk melakukan peramalan permintaan jumlah koran di Kota Surakarta adalah metode trend line analysis.

Abstract

Timber Legality Assurance System (TLAS) is a regulation which provided to prevent illegal logging. The system insists the furniture manufacturers have certification of timber used for their production. They must ensure that the raw materials (log) that used are legal and traceable. Timber Tracking’s services are designed by using ASP.NET Web Service Technology which uses SOAP protocol and WSDL interface so it can be used for multi platform system to system communication which using HTTP protocol. The database of Timber Tracking is designed by using Microsoft SQL Server DBMS which has fully compatibility with other applications that made by ASP.NET framework. Object oriented C# is needed to make the application for client side. The Web Service services has been integrated with Timber Tracking Application which based on desktop application, so it would be accessed easily, and it can be used to help maintain and manage the Timber Legality Verification System variables.

Abstract

Distribution and transportation are very vital for the company business beverages that must distribute its products to many areas of the consumer, for example is a bottled tea company.  A good distribution plan and an optimum route would decrease cost and time for distributing the products.  In a real case study for a bottled tea in Surakarta area, the fluctuating demand of consumers cannot be ensured and these mismatches by a salesman that should be based on the distribution plan and the realization of visit (RRK) resulted in the absence schedule. Therefore, it is required an optimum route to help the salesman in doing RRK or distribution without ignoring predetermined targets. There is a settlement solution will be more orderly preparation of these are using a Clark and Wright Saving Heuristic method. The method is able to assist the performance of salesmen and cost savings in the delivery of Surakarta area. In this paper, we have presented a real cases vehicle routing based on Clark-Wright algorithm to solve the open vehicle routing problem (OVRP) of bottled tea distribution in Surakarta District. We have modified the Clark Wright algorithm with three procedures composed of Clark and Wright formula. The methods of swap, 2 OPT and 3-OPT were used to improve our best solution in shortest route and the cheapest cost of distribution.

Abstract

High electricity demand requires power companies to maintain the efficiency of every generation process. One factor affecting the efficiency of the production system is the reliability of the machine. Nozzle is a sparepart of the tool used to clean slaging on the wall of the boiler is Soot Blower . Soot Blower's current condition consumes steam nearly 400,000 kg/year from the ideal condition 332,000 kg/year. The high consumption of steam causes the high cost of coal and low efficiency Soot Blower. One alternative that can be offered is to replace the Nozzle with a new type that has a lower pressure that is Nozzle Gemini. The new alternative compared based on operational analysis that see comparison from preference matrix weight and financial analysis that see comparison on 10 year projection by Net Present Value(NPV), IRR and PP analysis. And it is known on both analysis of Gemini Nozzle usage is feasible to be applied.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas efektivitas jadwal proyek implementasi software MineMarket. Masalah ini sangat penting untuk dibahas karena keterlambatan yang tidak diketahui oleh perusahaan. Kendala keterlambatan dapat diantisipasi ketika rencana proyek dapat dilaksanakan secara efektif. Analisis efektivitas jadwal proyek dilakukan dengan melihat waktu pelaksanaan serta biaya yang dikeluarkan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang terjadi dalam implementasi proyek dan memberikan solusi alternatif untuk menjalankan jadwal secara efektif. Critical Path Method (CPM) digunakan untuk menentukan jalur penting dalam proyek, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan diagram tulang ikan dan untuk memberikan jadwal yang direkomendasikan. Metode ini dapat menghasilkan waktu proyek yang optimal dan menunjukkan masalah yang terjadi. Rencana alternatif yang optimal dapat diimplementasikan di perusahaan untuk proyek lebih lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode yang digunakan dapat memberikan waktu proyek optimal 341 hari, dan masalah telah diselesaikan dari faktor organisasi, budaya, lingkungan, dan sumber daya manusia. MJK dapat membantu dengan menganalisis jadwal proyek yang telah terjadi dan memeriksa efektivitas jadwal proyek yang direncanakan.
