Abstract

Learning motivation is a very important learning need that cannot be separated from learning activities in order to achieve a goal. There is learning motivation that comes from yourself which is usually called intrinsic motivation, there are also those that come from outside oneself where emergence is needed from outside stimulation commonly called extrinsic motivation. With the existence of diligent effort and especially based on the existence of motivation, then someone who learns it will be able to give birth to achievements. Student Achievement is a result achieved or obtained by students from a learning process in achieving learning goals. Student achievement is a picture of students' ability to understand the content of a lesson which is usually symbolized by a score or value.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Determine the effectiveness of the peer lesson method in improving the learning outcomes of jurisprudence of class X students at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Hikmah Kedungmaling Sooko Mojokerto, 2) Knowing the effectiveness of the peer tutor method in improving the learning outcomes of class X students in Islamic schools of Aliyah Darul Hikmah Kedungmaling, Kedungmaling Sooko Mojokerto. This type of research is quantitative-comparative. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, documentation and tests. The population in this study was 131 students of class X MA. Darul Hikmah Kedungmaling Sooko Mojokerto. Researchers took a sample of 40 students randomly. The data analysis technique uses statistical correlation coefficient analysis. Hypothesis testing shows that: 1) The peer lesson method is effectively used in improving the fiqh subjects of class X students in the MA. Darul Hikmah Kedungmaling Sooko Mojokerto. This is indicated by a correlation value of 0.800 which indicates a high relationship or influence between the peer lesson method and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of Islamic education in the archipelago has faced a variety of social changes ranging from the kingdom-empire era, the colonial period, the period of independence, the old order, the new order, until the fifth year of the new millennium. Changes have occurred, which initially took the form of traditional education in the form of recitation in homes, prayer rooms, mosques and also in its development also equipped or transformed itself into schools as the physical appearance of the building with modern facilities and management. In terms of the material being taught there has also been a development from what was originally, only teaching Islamic teachings and studying the Qur'an, then turning into practical worship, continuing to study the book, then leading to religious teaching in the form of selected curriculum such as monotheism / faith, morals, jurisprudence, hadith, interpretation, the history of Islam and Arabic. Colonialism has introduced a modern education model both in terms of management, teaching technology and the material taught there are pure and some have adopted or adapted Islamic education in the Middle East and the Western world.
