Abstract

This paper describes the great tradition of thought that influence the development of linguistic discourse. Between the two of linguistic madzab described in this article is the theory of generative transformation fronted by Noam Chomsky and systemic functional grammar theory initiated by MAK Halliday tradition of thought. The study, conducted a literature study, by using qualitative descriptive study. The data in this paper is a literacy data set obtained from books, articles and journals, as a secondary source to obtain an adequate explanation of the study. Abstract

Dayak Ngaju memiliki keterikatan yang sangat kuat dengan lingkungan alam disekitarnya. Termasuk pembelaanya kulturalnya terhadap persoalan eksploitasi dan perampasan tanah. Kajian ini menginvestigasi aspek-aspek Bahasa Dayak Ngaju yang berkaitan dengan hukum tanah dan digunakan oleh masyarakat secara turun temurun, sekaligus upaya kritik terhadap hukum tanah yang ada di Indonesia. Data diperoleh melalui kajian pustaka, observasi dan interview. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberpihakan Bahasa Dayak Ngaju terhadap konservasi tanah dan kesesuainya dengan tujuan reformasi agraria, antara lain: (1) Hutan sebagai tempat berharga bagi masyarakat Dayak Ngaju; (2) Nilai sosial dan kultural dalam budaya, seremoni peribadatan Ranying Hatalla dan Maniring Hinting dan implikasinya dalam pengelolaan tanah; (3) Penggunaan berbagai terminologi seperti Tajahan, Kaleka, Sapan Pahewan, dan Pukung Himba sebagai warisan konsep konservasi masyarakat. Tiga hal tersebut menjadi basis kultural dan empirik, keyakinan masyarakat dalam mengelola tanah dengan baik tanpa melakukan kerusakan terhadapnya.

Abstract

This study reveals the role of Pesantren and Kitab Kuning in maintaining Javanese Language. This focus on how the Javanese language maintenance process through the transmission of cultural values ​​and learning at the Pesantren Al-Falah Salafi Brebes and other supporting factors of the Javanese language maintenance process. This qualitative research uses a sociolinguistic approach. The type of data is the form of socio-cultural words and expressions, learning curricula, and Javanese language maintenance programs in Pesantren. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and document study. Data analysis technique is done by identifying, classifying and interpreting the data. The results showed that the process of maintaining Javanese language takes place on several ways: 1) Learning Kitab Kuning through Sorogan, Bandongan, Pasaran methods. 2) Tradition of dialogue through Khitobahan, Majlis Orda and Bahtsul Masail. 3) Personification of Kiai with the necessity to use Javanese language, and 4) Formal and informal communication. All these activities make Javanese language be maintained in Pesantren.

Abstract

This study revealed the design of the model of pesantren-based literary with the insight of religious moderation and its contribution in strengthening religious moderation through education and writing training programs. Establishing literacy model of santri with a good scientific tradition and the contextual dialectic of thought is must be developed. Through the model developed as an effort to reinvent literature of pesantren with religious moderation values is able to become a reference for the design of santri writing training and its application in realizing Wasatiyyah Islam. This research is qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data are collected through observation and documentation. The results of this study found two important things; First, the new model of pesantren-based literary with the insight of religious. Second, the contribution of pesantren-based literary model in realizing the agent of peace.
