Abstract

Abstract. The rise of the demonstration has finally become a phenomenon that is both interesting and apprehensive in the life of the nation and state. Social prejudice is one of the driving factors for the demonstration. Social prejudice is emotional, which is easily a motivator for the emergence of social explosions in society. Prejudice fosters suspicion, distrust and hostility. Prejudice contains three basic components of attitude namely, cognitive, affective, and cognitive.Keywords: Social Prejudice, Demonstration Abstrak.Maraknya aksi demontrasi mansyarakat akhir-akhhir ini menjadi fenomena yang menarik sekaligus memprihatinkan dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara.Prasangka sosial maenjadi salah satu faktor pendorong munculnya aksi demontrasi tersebut.Prasangka sosial bersifat emosional, yang mudah sekali menjadi motivator menculnya ledakan sosial dalam masyarakat.Prasangka menumbuhkan kecurigaan, ketidakpercayaan, dan permusuhan.Prasangka mengandung tiga komponen dasar sikap yakni, kognitif, afektif, dan kognitif.Kata Kunci :Prasangka Sosial, Demonstrasi
