Abstract

Ageratum conyzoides L. merupakan gulma yang tumbuh tegak dengan batang bagian bawah berbaring. Tinggi tumbuhan ini sekitar 30-90 cm dan bercabang. A. conyzoides mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder meliputi flavonoid, alkaloid, kumarin, minyak esensial dan tannin. Ekstrak metabolit tanaman ini telah ditemukan memiliki aktivitas bioherbisida. Daun A. conyzoides diekstraksi secara maserasi menggunakan pelarut metanol. Ekstrak metanol yang diperoleh di rotary evaporator dan menghasilkan ekstrak methanol pekat dengan beberapa konsentrasi yang akan diaplikasikan pada gulma sasaran untuk melihat aktivitas penekananya. Hasil uji menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi 20% mampu menekan pertumbuhan bayam duri, dan penggunaan pelarut turut mempengaruhi senyawa yang diekstrak dari tanaman tersebut. The activity of bioherbisida extract methanol of babadotan (Ageratum conyzoides) on the growth of Bayam Duri (Amaranthus spinosus)Ageratum conyzoides L. Is weed that grows erect with the stem the bottom lying. High herbs this is about 30-90 cm and branching. A. conyzoides compound containing a metabolite secondary covering flavonoid, an alkaloid, coumarin, essential oils and tannin. Extract of a metabolite these plants have been found the bioherbisida activity. Leaves A. conyzoides extracted in maceration use methanol solvent. Extract methanol obtained in rotary evaporators and yielding extract methanol out of some concentration will apply to weed objective to see activity his emphasis. Test results showed that concentration 20 % able to press spinach spines growth, and the use of a solvent also influence compound extracted from the plant.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penghambatan yang disebabkan oleh gulma bisa mengganggu pertumbuhan serta perkembangan tanaman budidaya. Aplikasi herbisida kimia sintetik dalam waktu berkepanjangan cenderung menimbulkan efek negatif, sehingga perlu dicari cara yang aman bagi lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan senyawa turunan tumbuhan (alelokimia) sebagai bioherbisida. Babadotan adalah tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai bioherbisida. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengetahui aktivitas ekstrak etil asetat babadotan subfraksi A pada berbagai konsentrasi terhadap pertumbuhan gulma bayam duri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Labratorium Ilmu Gulma Fakultas Pertanian, Laboratorium Herbarium Jurusan Biologi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Laboratoium Analisis Kimia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Laboratorium Kimia Organik Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Laboratorium Analisis Pangan dan Hasil Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian dan Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, dari Januari hingga Juli 2022. Rancangan penelitian yang dipakai adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial, terdapat 7 perlakuan yaitu konsentrasi ekstrak etil asetat babadotan subfraksi A 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, kontrol positif (2,4-D) dan kontrol negatif (aquades) dengan 3 kali ulangan, hingga didapatkan 21 satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan aplikasi ekstrak etil asetat babadotan subfraksi A pada konsentrasi 4%, 6%, 8% dan 10% dapat menghambat pertumbuhan tinggi gulma, jumlah daun dan diameter batang gulma bayam duri dan sama pengaruhnya dengan kontrol positif (2,4-D).Activity of  Ethyl Acetate Extract Billygoat (Ageratum conyzoides L.) Subfraction A at Various Consentration on Spiny Amaranth (Amaranthus spinosus L.)Abstract. Inhibition caused by weeds can interfere with the growt and development of cultivated plants. The application of synthetic chemical herbicides for a long time tends to cause negative effects, so it is necessary to find environment by utilizing plant-derived compounds (alelochemicals) as bioherbicides. Billygoat is a plant that has the potential as a bioherbicides. This study aimed to decide the activity of ethyl acetate extract of billygoat weed subfraction A at various concentrations on spiny amaranth growth. This research was conducted at the Weed Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Herbarium Laboratory, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Laboratory of Chemical Analysis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Laboratory of Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Laboratory of Food and Agricultural Product Analysis, Faculty of Agriculture and garden experimental Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, from January to July 2022. The research design used was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), there were 7 treatments namely of a concentration of ethyl acetate extract of billygoat subfraction A 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, positive control (2,4-D) and negative control (aquades) with 3 replications, until there are 21 trial units. The results of the study proved the application of ethyl acetate extract of billygoat subfraction A at concentrations of 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% could inhibit the growth of weed height, leaf number and stem diameter on spiny amaranth thorn weed and as well as positive control (2,4-D).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan agar mengetahui pengaruh jenis isolat rizobakteri asal Kecamatan Pegasing Kabupaten Aceh Tengah terhadap pertumbuhan patogen Phytopthora capsici dan perannya sebagai pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih Jurusan Agroteknologi Fakultas Pertanian dan Laboratorium Biologi FKIP Universitas syiah kuala, dilaksanakan mulai bulan Mei sampai Desember 2022. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola non faktorial terdiri dari 9 perlakuan isolat rizobakteri dengan 3 ulangan, sehingga diperoleh 27 satuan percobaan. Isolat rizobakteri PM 6/3 memiliki kemampuan daya hambat terbaik dengan nilai 85,77% dan mempunyai laju penghambatan pertumbuhan koloni patogen terbaik dengan nilai 0,31 mm . Semua isolat rizobakteri yang diuji tidak mampu menghasilkan senyawa HCN yang ditandai dengan kertas saring tidak mengalami perubahan warna. Isolat rizobakteri PM 7/1 memiliki kemampuan memproduksi hormon IAA tertinggi dengan nilai 0,62 µg mI . Semua isolat rizobakteri yang diuji berpotensi melarutkan fosfat (P) yang ditandai dengan terbentuknya zona beningn (halozone) disekitar suspensi yang berisi isolat rizobakteri. Jenis isolat rizobakteri yang diuji mampu bereaksi gram positif PM 6/1, PM 6/2, PM 6/3, PM 8/1, PM 8/2 dan PM 8/3, serta isolat rizobakteri PM 7/1, PM 7/2 dan PM 7/3 bereaksi gram negatif.In Vitro Test of Rhizobacteria Isolate from Central Aceh District on Growth of Pathogen Phytophthora capsiciThe aim of this research was to determine the effect of the type of rhizobacterial isolate from Pegasing District, Central Aceh Regency on the growth of the pathogen Phytopthora capsici and its role as a promoter of plant growth. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Seed Science and Technology, Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture and the Biology Laboratory of FKIP, University of Syiah Kuala, from May to December 2022.This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a non factorial pattern consisting of 9 treatments of rhizobacterial isolates with 3 replications, resulting in 27 experimental units. Isolate rhizobacteria PM 6/3 had the best inhibition ability with a value of 85.77% and had the best inhibition rate of growth of pathogenic colonies with a value of 0,31 mm . All rhizobacterial isolates tested were unable to produce HCN compounds which were marked on filter paper that did not change color. Isolate rhizobacteria PM 7/1 had the highest ability to produce IAA hormone with a value of 0,62 µg mI . All rhizobacterial isolates tested had the potential to dissolve phosphate (P) which was indicated by the formation of a clear zone around the suspension containing rhizobacterial isolates. The types of rhizobacterial isolates tested were able to react gram positively to PM 6/1, PM 6/2, PM 6/3, PM 8/1, PM 8/2 and PM 8/3, as well as rhizobacterial isolates PM 7/1, PM 7/ 2 and PM 7/3 react gram negatively.
