Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam dunia Pendidikan sudah mulai terasa dampaknya. Khususnya dalam hal pemanfaatan teknologi untuk mengelola informasi akademik pada Sekolah Kejuruan atau SMK. Dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah siswa dari tahun ketahun, sekolah dituntut untuk memiliki ketepatan dan ketelitiannya supaya segala aktivitas sekolah terpantau dengan baik, seperti praktek kerja industri (prakerin), input nilai akhir siswa, sampai dengan presensi siswa. Pada peenlitian ini mencoba menyelesaikan masalah tersebut dengan merancang suatu Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Web pada SMK As-Syuhada Al-Khairiyah supaya berguna dalam memberikan kemudahan bagi pengajar maupun staff. Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Web merupakan solusi yang tepat untuk mewujudkan sebuah sistem informasi yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall dimana pembangunan sistem ini secara keseluruhan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan istilah Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), dan metode waterfall ini bersifat serial yang dimulai dari perencanaan, analisa, desain, dan implementasi pada sistem. Metode ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan yang sistematis, mulai dari tahap kebutuhan sistem lalu menuju ketahap analisis, design, coding, testing/verification, dan maintenance. Keuntungan yang diberikan jika menggunakan metode ini diselesaikan secara satu persatu supaya tidak dapat meloncat dari tahap satu hingga ke tahap berikutnagar tidak membingungkan saat proses pengerjaan sebuah aplikasi. Aplikasi yang dihasilkan dalam penekitian ini telah dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi di SMK As-Syuhada Al-Khairiyah karena memiliki fitur-fitur yang mendukung dalam kegiatan operasional akademik

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the use of the internet which leads to the business world has begun to use the internet as a medium of sale and purchase. Merchandise_yensu22 clothing store, currently marketing and selling is still conventional. Merchandise_yensu22 clothing store is a business that is engaged in clothing where the purchase of products from consumers is done by directly coming to the store. To expand sales, this business unit began to follow the development of information technology, especially in online marketing and sales activities, namely through an online store website (E-Commerce) where buyers can come from many regions. In the research conducted using the software development method, namely the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC Waterfall) method and using data collection techniques such as observations, interviews, and literature studies. Website application design at the Dagangan_yensu22 clothing store uses software such as XAMPP, STAR UML, NOTEPAD ++, and uses the PHP programming language and uses the IGNITER CODE Framework. Abstract

This research will help students in choosing majors at SMK Cilegon City, namely by creating a website application by providing choices of majors criteria that have been determined by the Admin. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The advantage of this SAW method lies in its ability to make a more precise assessment because it is based on the value of the criteria and the weight of the level of importance required. The SAW method can also select the best alternative from a number of available alternatives, then a ranking process is carried out in which the total weight values ​​of all criteria are added up after determining the weight value of each criterion. The way this method works is to search for majors based on the selected criteria so that it will display in detail about the majors.
