Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk untuk menyajikan gambaran secara lengkap mengenai kesulitan mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan soal matriks. Penelitian ini sendiri dilakukan pada kelas malam prodi teknik industri Universitas Banten Jaya. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui 3 tahap yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan dalam menyelesaikan soal matriks adalah jenis kesalahan konsep dan operasi yaitu untuk soal nomor 1 kurang paham dalam menentukan determinan apakah menggunakan cara ekpansi kofaktor atau harus juga menggunakan metode sarrus. Kemudian untuk soal nomor 2 kurang paham dalam menentukan rumus baris ditambah dengan soal yang dianggap paling sulit.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research. The purpose of the study was to present a picture of the increase in self-esteem of students who obtained the 7E learning cycle learning model compared to students who obtained conventional learning based on student KAM. This research was conducted at a Junior High School in Serang Regency, Banten Province. Data collection techniques in research is through pretest and posttest. Data analysis was performed through a self-esteem scale score with the Mann-Whitney U test. The results showed that the increase in self-esteem of students who obtained the 7E learning cycle learning model was better than that of students who obtained conventional learning models in the medium KAM category. Whereas in the low and high KAM categories there is no difference in the increase in self-esteem of students who get the 7E learning cycle compared to students who get conventional learning.

Abstract

This training activity on the use of video conferencing using Google Meet aims to introduce interactive online learning media to students. The choice of video conference in the form of Google Meet is because this application is very light in terms of storage capacity and all features can be used for free. The method used is in the form of workshops that are carried out offline while still complying with the covid 19 health protocol. Steps start from preparation in students and training locations and implementation is carried out starting from guiding the installation process of the google meet application to introducing the available features. The training carried out received a good response from students because after the training they felt that the Google Meet application could later be used not only for learning but also to stay in touch with friends and family.

Abstract

This is Education is a science that studies how to improve human quality in order to develop in a global world. Education in this country is not without problems. Not a few problems in the world of education are in the spotlight. One of the interesting things to highlight is the problem of free hours in class when learning is taking place at school. The existence of empty class hours at school can affect student delinquency. Research on student activities during free hours was conducted on 39 class XI students at SMKN 1 Kota Serang using a survey research method. The data collection technique used was a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire and interviews with students who were the object of research. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the dominant activity carried out by students is sleeping, by 30%. Meanwhile, students who study during empty hours are only 9%. The results of this study need to be followed up as evaluation material so that learning in schools becomes more effective in the future.
