Abstract

ABSTRAKRumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh adalah Rumah Sakit Rujukan Perawatan Flu Burung. Kemampuan penangan Flu Burung secara tepat dan cepat sangat diperlukan. Kinerja perawat dalam penatalaksanaan kasus flu burung merupakan komponen penting penentu keberhasilan terapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kinerja perawat dalam penatalaksanaan kasus flu burung dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian dilakukan bulan Mei – Juli 2013, menggunakan metode sensus dengan pendekatan kuantitatif didukung oleh pendekanan kualitatif. Populasi penelitian perawat yang berjumlah 50 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kinerja perawat berada dalam katagori sedang. Lingkungan kerja (β = 0,939), sikap (β = 0.917) dan Pengetahuan (β = 0,785) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat dalam penatalaksanaan kasus flu burung. Disarankan kepada manajemen Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin mempertahankan kenyamanan lingkungan kerja dan secara kontinyu meningkatkan kemampuan perawat melalui pelatihan dan simulasi flu burung minimal sakali dalam setahun.Kata Kunci: Kinerja, Lingkungan Kerja, Pengetahuan, SikapABSTRACTDr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospita Banda Aceh is an avian influenza refferal hospital. The handling capability of avian influenza accurately and quickly is needed. Performance of nurses in the management of cases avian influenza is an important component that determines the success of therapy. This study aims to investigate the performance of nurses in the management of cases of avian influenza and the factors that influence it. The study was conducted from May to July, 2013, using census method with a quantitative approach and supported by qualitative approach. The study population is 50 numbers of nurses. Data was collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews. The result shows that the performance of nurses is in middle range category. Work invorenment (β = 0.939), attitude (β = 0.917) and knowledge (β = 0.785) significantly influenced the performance of nurses in management of avian influenza. It is suggested to the management of the general hospital of Dr. Zainoel Abidin to maintain the comfortable working environment and continuously improve the ability of nurses through training and simulation of avian influenza once a year.Keywords: Performance, Attitude, Knowledge, and Work Environment
