Abstract

Vehicular ad hoc networks are wireless network technologies that can be used to communicate without the need for fixed infrastructure. The use of zone routing protocol which is a hybrid routing protocol in a vehicular ad hoc network environment can reduce delay, packet flooding, and excess bandwidth usage on the network. However, traditional zone routing protocol is only configured for one fixed radius value, which makes it not adapt to existing network conditions. Zone dynamics with adaptive radius values in zone routing protocol are used so that zones formed by nodes are more optimal. In adapting the radius value to make the zone dynamics necessary, the optimal configuration of the radius update time is required. Simulations and tests that have been carried out with NS-2 show that the proper update time can improve zone routing protocol performance with a low end-to-end delay and routing overhead value, but has a high packet delivery ratio.

Abstract

Framework merupakan sebuah kerangka kerja yang dibuat untuk memudahkan kinerja dalam pembangunan sebuah web. Dengan framework, sistem web yang dibangun akan menjadi lebih tersusun dan terstruktur rapi. Sekarang ini banyak framework yang dikembangkan dalam membangun sebuah web. Paper ini menyediakan sebuah tinjauan literatur sistematis dari berbagai penelitian yang telah membahas tentang pengaruh framework khusus dalam pengembangan dan pembuatan web. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 (dua) digital library, yaitu Science Direct dan IEEE Xplore serta melakukan penyaringan untuk mendapatkan publikasi artikel ilmiah mulai 2010 sampai 2018 yang membahas tentang pengaruh penggunaan framework khusus terhadap pengembangan dan pembuatan web. Artikel ilmiah yang terpilih kemudian dianalisis sesuai dengan research question yang dibuat. Hasilnya, penelitian ini menggolongkan beberapa artikel berdasar area pengembangan dan peningkatan yang dihasilkan, dimana kebanyakan artikel berfokus pada pemberian rekomendasi dalam pengembangan web dengan pemilihan framework dan framework yang dipakai untuk proses testing.

Abstract

Zone dynamization is carried out in the Zone Routing Protocol to allow the adaptation of the routing protocol to VANET network conditions. Zone dynamization is accomplished by periodically updating the radius within a configured time period. The value of link stability from the factors that influence network conditions is used as a reference in the radius value’s renewal process. From the test and simulation results, speed is the most dominant factor in link stability composition. Comparison between ZRP and zone dynamics against traditional ZRP shows better performance than ZRP with zonal dynamics when measured from metric analysis of packet delivery ratio, delay, and routing overhead. The increase in ZRP performance can occur because the zoning dynamics carried out make ZRP more adaptive to network conditions so that it does not work too proactively or reactively.
