Abstract

Vitamin B12 is an essential factor for DNA synthesis, and it is also needed in the reaction for the production of lipoprotein in myelin sheaths of the nerve system. It is known that vitamin B12 deficiency causes.among others disturbances in the nucleus formation and leads to megaloblastic anemias, with or without disturbances of the peripheral nerve system. Disturbances in the nucleus formation affect cells of tissues which have a relatively rapid turnover such as hemopoiedc precursors in the bone marrow and the mucosal epithelium of the gastrointestinal tract. As the importance of the role of the vitamin in the formation and the development of cells and as the deficiency of the vitamin may initiate a vicious circle which aggravates more and more the deficiency and the defect of the gastrointestinal mucosa, it is very important to cut the circle with, for example, a high dose of parentera I vitamin B12 with sufficient quantity and quality of food.Key Words: gastric intrinsic factor - methylcobalamin - hydroxocobalamin megaloblastic - anemia - vitamin B12

Abstract

The reticuloendothelial system is the bodys defence units, which are situated in every tissues layer and tissues folds of the body, and function as one functional unit. Its cellular components have the capacity to move to approach foreign particles by the help of the circulation function or by active amoeboid movements within the tissue, to phagocytose those foreign particles. Some of these cellular components have the capacity to make humoral antibody. Its most important function is to maintain the uniqueness of self, which includes among others:-destruction of foreign particles,-destruction of senile cells of the body, andcancer surveillance.Key Words: emperipolesis, bacterial infection - immediate and delayed hypersensitivity- Slow Reacting Substance of Anaphylaxis - blocking antibody

Abstract

The key of the development of gastric ulcer is that the unionised substances or the lipid soluble substances which can cross the lipoprotein part or the cell membrane cause a rapid back diffusion of H-ions from the lumina I part of the stomach to the mucosa] layer, and a rapid Na-ions secretion. It causes cell damage and histamin release. Histamin causes mucosal edema and increases gastric acid secretion. Strong and repeated insults of histamin release may develop mucosal erosions and then ulcers. It is suggested that the development of gastric ulcer is promoted among others by acid hypersecretion, mucous hypersecrerion, delayed mucosal cell turn-over, SIgA deficiency, rnucosal exposure to mucosa] damaging substances, and prolonged and repeated mucosa] ischemia. The pain of gastric ulcer is probably due mainly to the action of acid or other irritants on a sensitive region of the mucous membrane.Key Words : gastric mucosal barrier - I-12 receptor - cephalic phase of gastric secretion - emotional stress - cigarette smoker

Abstract

The development of science and technology all the time undergoes significant changes. Life in the 21st century requires a variety of proficiency that must be mastered by someone, so it is hoped that education can prepare students to master these skills in order to become successful individuals in life. 21st century proficiency contain 4 components, namely creative thinking critical thinking and problem solving, communication, and collaboration. The achievement of 21st century skills is carried out by updating the quality of learning, helping students develop participation, adjusting learning personalization, emphasizing project/problem-based learning, encouraging collaboration and communication, cultivating creativity and innovation in learning, using appropriate learning tools, designing activities learning that is relevant to the real world, and developing student-centered learning. 21st century learning in principle must be student-centered, collaborative, contextual, and integrated with society. The role of teachers in implementing 21st century learning is very important in realizing a better future for the nation's children.

Abstract

Abstract. Health is one of the agenda of Sustainable Development Goal’s (SDG’s). Mental health is an important aspect in achieving social welfare and one of the highest disability causes in Indonesia at a 13,7% rate. DKI Jakarta Province pays great attention to the treatment of homeless people with mental disability. That is shown by the total of non-homeless people with a mental disability according to the Infodatin of Ministry of Health RI in 2019. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. This research is to scrutinize the social rehabilitation for homeless People with Mental Disability (PDM) in PSBL 1. The result shows that on the initial approach step, there is social support from Cengkareng Barat Officials. On the disclosure and problem understanding step, PSBL 1 conducts an assessment in the form of Social Services’ Psychotic Screening Instrument. The problem planning arrangement step is conducted to arrange the cluster 1 syllabi. The problem-solving step is conducted with the pharmacotherapy method at Tiendra clinic and daily activity which is written on syllabi. The resocialization step is conducted with the regular examination. The termination step is conducted with a homeless PDM assessment determined for the progress of homeless PDM. The further counselling step is conducted with the independence stabilization of homeless PDM in the form of social support such as counselling. The research implication could serve as reflection material for policymakers and internal evaluation.
