Abstract

Education is an important thing at this time, especially in college. One form of education is practical activities carried out to improve student experience and understanding. Things that affect student competence are the competence of laboratory assistants, practical facilities, practical worksheets and theoretical understanding. This study was conducted to determine the magnitude of the influence of the competence of laboratory assistant practical facilities, practical jobsheets and theoretical understanding on the competence of students of Electrical Engineering Vocational Education, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. This study is an ex-post facto research using quantitative research methods whose data were obtained using questionnaires and tests distributed to students of Electrical Engineering Vocational Education at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University who did practicum and then processed using the SPSS 25.0 application with simple linear regression analysis techniques and also regression double. The results of the study showed that there was a significant effect of the laboratory assistant competency variable, while the practical facilities variable, practical worksheet and theoretical understanding did not have a significant influence on the student competency variable. Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which was carried out to measure the independent and dependent variables using numbers that were processed through statistical analysis. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence between 1) The effect of work motivation on the work readiness of SMKN 1 Cinangka students 2) The influence of the suitability of field work practice (PKL) competencies on the work readiness of SMKN 1 Cinangka students 3) the influence of work motivation and the suitability of competencies on readiness SMKN 1 Cinangka students. The method used is the distribution of the instrument on the research sample that has been determined from the population where the research is intended. The results of this study are (1) there is a positive influence of work motivation on the work readiness of SMKN 1 Cinangka students with a correlation value = 0.377 with a significance level of 5% and a contribution of 73.8%. (2) there is a positiv e influence on the suitability of PKL competencies on the work readiness of SMKN 1 Cinangka students with a correlation value = 0.467 with a significance level of 5% and a contribution of 34.1%. (3) there is a positive effect of work motivation and suitability of competencies on the work readiness of SMKN 1 Cinangka students with a correlation value of = 0.558 with a significance level of 5% and a contribution of 61.1%. It can be concluded that there is an influence between work motivation (X1) on work readiness (Y), there is an influence between the suitability of PKL competence (X2) to (Y), there is an influence between work motivation (X1) and the suitability of competence (X2) on work readiness ( Y). Abstract

The use of electrical energy consumed by the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa uses electrical energy sources managed by PLN which are included in primary consumers, where primary electricity customers are given a voltage of 20kV (medium voltage). Then from the PLN substation in Untirta, it is distributed by equipment or components to the Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University area. Medium Voltage (TM) which is a strong current at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is divided into 5 parts, where the medium voltage starts from the power house and enters the Integrated Laboratory Building, Economic Building, Transformer House, Integrated Class and Rectorate Building. The light voltage (TR) is divided into 3 zones, namely the Integrated Laboratory Building, Transformer House and Rectorate Building. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. Analysis of the data used is interactive analysis by Milles & Humerman. The results of the study stated that this light voltage is used as an additional voltage to compensate for medium voltages such as lighting lamps. The lighting source in the Integrated Laboratory uses the Philips brand with 5 types of lamps namely TL-LED, LED Floodlight, LED BULB, BL CG TL-5 and TL-RM 300 M1 which have IP Ratings of IP65 and IP20. For output use 10-200watt with a lighting level of 2100-28000 lm. The Schneider brand socket has a power of 200-1000 watt and a current of 16 Ampere. Abstract

This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process which leads to an increase in student activity and student result in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects. The design of classroom action in this study refers to the design of Kemmis & Taggart model which consist of several cycles and each cycle there are four stages, namely (1) planning stage, (2) action stage, (3) observation stage, and (4) reflection stage. The population of this study were students of class X TOI in the Industrial Automation Engineering Expertise Program at SMK YPWKS Cilegon, the samples in this study were students of class X TOI A as many as 22 people. Data were collected through tests and observations. Technical analysis of data using descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the application of Group Investigation learning model in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects could increase the student activity and student result of class X TOI A students. This increase in activity can be seen from student contribution during the learning process in the form of student enthusiasm in paying attention to teacher explanations, paying attention to friends' explanations while presentations, asking question, expressing opinions, taking notes on material, writing assignments given by the teacher, and working together with groups. The highest achievement in the indicator is paying attention to the teacher’s explanation, taking notes and listening to the teacher’s explanation, each indicator has a percentage of 95,45%. Meanwhile, the lowest achievement is the indicator of doing group work and listening to questions and answers with a percentage of 72.73%. The increase in student learning activity has an effect on increasing students' psychomotor and cognitive learning outcomes. The average value of psychomotor learning outcomes in the first cycle was 67.73%, increasing to 81.82% in the second cycle. The students' cognitive aspect obtained the percentage of the first cycle of 74.06% and the second cycle increased to 69.32%. And increased in the second cycle that is equal to 82.27 Keywords: Group Investigation;Learning Activity; learning Outcomes;Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects
