Abstract

The Aim of this research is to know the influence of the quality of service on the customer satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Musi Unit Kalidoni Palembang.  Population of this research are all customer of PDAM Tirta Musi Unit Kalidoni Palembang in May 2012.  Sample of this research are 100 respondents, the author use simple random sampling technique for this research.  Data analysis used the method of interviews and questionnaires.  This research is using a simple regression analysis using two variables:  Service quality variables as dependent variables and customer satisfaction as independent variables.  Based on calculation using the program SPSS 17.0 version showed that the value of R Square affect customer satisfaction of 33,7%, which means 33,7% of customer satisfaction is influenced by the quality of service and the remaining 66,3% influenced by other factors.  Based on the results of this final report, the author suggest that PDAM Tirta Musi Unit Kalidoni Palembang should further enhance the service quality of its services in order to give more satisfaction to customers. Keywords: Costumers, Satisfaction, Services, Quality

Abstract

This research is to look at the role of personal selling activities in increasing the volume of sales of advertising services at PT Granton World Palembang. It is located at Jalan Demang Lebar Daun No 59A Palembang. The authors found a decrease in sales volume that is from 2012-2013. Data was collected by using interviews and literature study.  Personal selling as a direct communication with prospective customers or individual customers on how to deliver information products or services to be offered. The results of research that the decrease in sales volume due to the amount of labor decrease too. That is because the salesperson has only minimal knowledge of how good sales, the functions and duties as a sales force to market the company's products as well as the lack of continuous training.  Therefore, PT Granton World Palembang should increase the potential, skills and motivation of sales person and equip sales person with product knowledge to more understand about the various advantages of the product to increase sales volume. Keywords : personal selling, advertising, services, product

Abstract

The rapid development of the emergence of a variety of Minimarket airport selling various household needs, both located within the urban environment has penetrated even at the village level, making trade competition becomes more intense, Athamart located at Jalan Sultan Mansyur Bukit Lama Palembang, is one of the Mini Market is able to compete with other competitors with a similar business, judging from the trend of return and the number of visitors enough to give a good future in the future, it is seen from the reception Athamart reached Rp. 35,000,000, - per day with a visitor capacity of approximately 300 people, the results of the analysis of multiple trend equation as follows: Y = 5.7 + 0389 (X1) + 0706 (X2), of the analysis obtained if X1 and X2 are the same price and location factors premises 0, the sales volume of at least 5.7 units or equivalent to Rp. 570.000, - per day, if there is an increase of one unit variable X1, the obtained increase of Rp. 38.900, - whereas when they both moved up one unit then it will be obtained an increase of Rp. 570,000 + Rp. 38,900 + Rp. 70 600 = Rp. 679 500, - thus the price factor and the location will show a positive trend.Keywords : Purchasing, Decision, Product, Price, Location.

Abstract

This research raises the problem: a) What is the role and competence of lecturers at the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 ?, b) How to improve the quality of the education system at Sriwijaya State Polytechnic in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0 ?. The model used for this research is to use a percentage of the respondents' answers. To see the percentage of respondents' answers to the questions on the questionnaire, the Score Index formula (Is) is used. Data analysis used in this research is by collecting data which is then processed using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Research results: 1) Lecturer Competence Variable in the Educational Revolution Era 4. 0 on the Information and communication technology literacy indicator occupies the highest average IS with a score of = 85.91%, while the Creativity and innovative skills indicator has the lowest score with an average IS = 82.19%. 2) Educational System Variables: the human literacy indicator occupies the highest average IS with a score = 87.65%, while the digital literacy indicator occupies the lowest score with an average IS = 84.58%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of social media as a promotional medium in increasing sales volume using the AISAS Model at the Return Space and Coffee Cafe in Palembang. Research time was 6 month. The research method was descriptive quantitative and qualitative research with a questionnaire method. Results: The AISAS variables with the indicator of "sharing information" had the lowest IS score of 76.2%, with a "strong" score interpretation, while the "interest" indicator received the highest score of 87.2%, with a "very strong" score interpretation. The sales volume variable with the "Promotion" indicator obtained the lowest IS score of 82.4%, with a "very strong" score interpretation, and the "product" indicator received the highest IS score of 86.8%, with a "very strong" score interpretation. Conclusions: The effectiveness of social media used by the Return Space and Coffee Café in Palembang has not appropriately been executed since the lack of posts or content uploaded on the Instagram and TikTok platforms, which has led to customers giving poor ratings to the use of promotional mediums using digital media. As for the sales volume with the "promotion" indicator, it receives the lowest score since it relates to the Return Cafe's very seldom use of digital media, making customers less aware of their promotions to attract customers to this Café.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di Toko Ikhsan Palembang. Pada kegiatan ini, tim pelaksana membuat Aplikasi Sistem Penyimpanan Barang menggunakan Microsoft Excel yang dipadukan dengan Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Aplikasi ini bertujuan membantu pemilik toko dalam mengelola persediaan barang secara lebih efisien, mulai dari memantau jumlah stok, mengetahui lokasi penyimpanan, mengurangi risiko kehilangan, mencegah penumpukan barang, hingga menghasilkan laporan yang lebih akurat terkait penjualan, pembelian, serta kondisi keuangan. Informasi dari laporan tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menganalisis besarnya keuntungan Toko Ikhsan setiap bulan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemilik toko telah memahami cara menggunakan aplikasi yang dibuat oleh tim pengabdian.
