Abstract

Research on "The Effect of Length stums and leaf fertilizer concentration on growth of stum rubber sleep eyes (Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg.). aimed to determine the effect of stum length and concentration leaf fertilizer concentration on growth of stum rubber sleep eyes, was carried on May 7, 2013 to August 2, 2013, in a plastic  house, garden experiments Slamet Riyadi Faculty of Agriculture, University of Surakarta, which is  located  in  the  village of  Mojosongo,  District  Banjarsari,  Surakarta  with altitude 143 meters above sea level. The method used in the research is arranged to use completely randomized design (CRD) with two treatment factors. The first factor cutting length 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm. The second factor of Gandasil D leaf fertilizer 0 g/liter water, 1 g/liter water , 2 g/liter water, and 3g/liter water, in order to obtain 12 combinations of treatment and repeated 3 times. The results showed: (1) Stum length treatment effect on all the parameters are observed ie shoot height, number of leaves, bud diameter, amount of roots, bud fresh weight and dry weight of bud. Stum length 15 cm produces a good bud growth is 31.15 cm bud height and bud diameter 5.48 mm. Stum 20 cm long while the amount of leaves produced 11.84 strands, the amount of roots of pieces 7.40, 18.73 g shoot fresh weight, and bud dry weight of 3.66 g. (2) Concentration and leaf fertilizer Gandasil D height effect  on  all  parameters  was  observed  that  shoot  height,  number  of  leaves,  bud diameter, amount of roots, bud fresh weight and dry weight of bud. Concentration of 3 g / liter of water produces good growth is 31.39 cm tall bud, bud 6.18 mm diameter, the amount of leaves 12 pieces, the amount of pieces roots 7.55, 19.44 g bud fresh weight and  dry weight  of  bud  3  ,  80  g.(3) There is  no  interaction  treatment  length  and concentration of fertilizer stum Gandasil D observations on all parameters. Abstract

The research on :"The Effect of Number of Seeds Per Hole Against Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt)" has been started on October 18, 2012 until January 17, 2013 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University Slamet Riyadi  which is located in the Village Kadipiro, Subdistrict Banjarsari, Town Surakarta. The purpose of this research to determine the effect of the number of seeds per hole on the growth and yield osf the best so that the effectiveness and efficiency of sweet corn planting can be achieved. This research uses the basic design of CRD (completely randomized design) consisting of 3 treatments with 11 replications. The treatment is as follows: A = 1 seed per hole B = 2 seeds per hole C = 3 seeds per hole Data were analyzed using analysis of Variance, which is followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% significant level. The results showed: (1) treatment affected the number of seeds per hole increases the growth and yield of sweet corn crop that is high at the age of 7 weeks after planting, stover fresh weight per plant, fresh weight of stover per hole, stover dry weight per plant, dry weight of stover per hole, heavy cob consumption per plant, cob weight consumption per hole, and the number of cobs per hole. While the number of cobs per plant, number of seed treatment had no effect, (2) treatment 1 seed per plant obtained the highest results on plant height at the age of 7 weeks after planting, stover fresh weight per plant, dry weight of stover per plant, and weight cob consumption per plant, and (3) Treatment of 3 seeds per hole to obtain the highest yield on fresh weight of stover per hole is 2574.55 g, dry weight of stover per hole is 600.81 g, cob weight per hole consumption is 668 g, and the number of cobs hole is 3.55 per ear.   Key words :  Seeds, Growth,Yield , Sweet Corn

Abstract

Research on "The Effect of giving arbuscular mycorrhizal and Organic Fertilizer Against growth of white teak seedlings (Gmelina arborea Roxb.) has been started on April 2013 until July2013 at green house of agriculture faculty of Slamet Riyadi University which is located in Village Kadipiro,Subdistrict Banjarsari, Town Surakarta, Province Central Java. The research design  was factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factor and 3 replication. Data  were  analyzed  by  Analysis  of  Variance  (Anova),  continued  by  Honestly Significant Diferent Test (HSDT) on 5 % significant level. The results show: Mycorrhizal best dose is 10 g / polybag because it can produce the highest seedlings height is 157.89 cm, weight  of  the  fresh  seedlings is  333.42 g  toughest,  heaviest  and  dry  weightof seedlingsis 86.37 g,. Best organic fertilizer is compost because it can produce the highest seedlings height 13 cm, diameter of the largest trunk is 12.18 mm, the highest number of leaves is 30.33 leaves, fresh weight is 306.49 g toughest seedlings, and dry weight of seedlingsof the heaviest is 79,86 g., and Best interactions happen  on  a  combination  of  compost  with  mycorrhizal  dosage  10  g/polybag because  it  produces  the  smallest  root-shoot  ratio  is  2.116,  a  combination  of compost with mycorrhizal dosage of 15 g / polybag because it produces the smallest root-shoot ratio is 2.237, and the combination of mycorrhizal dose 10 g / polybag with cow dung manure because it produces the smallest root-shoot ratio is 2.175.
