Abstract

Alat penyulingan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah alat penyulingan yang dirancang dan dibuat untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan ketersediaan air bersih bagi masyarakat pesisir khususnya pada saat musim kemarau. Dibandingkan dengan mengandalkan air hujan yang belum tentu ada setiap hari, maka alat ini sangat membantu karena ketersadiaan bahan bakunya cukup melimpah yakni air laut yang ada disekitar masyarakat pesisir. Komponen alat yang terdapat pada alat ini adalah lensa cembung, wadah penyulingan, ember plastik, dan botol gallon. Dari hasil analisa dan penelitian,nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari alat untuk variasi jarak lensa pertama (2,05 ml/jam) dari volume air laut yang dipanaskan (1.500 ml) dengan jarak titik tengah antara lensa adalah 8 cm, pada variasi jarak lensa kedua, nilai rata-ratanya adalah (1,96 ml/jam) dari volume air laut yang dipanaskan (1.500 ml) dengan jarak titik tengah antara lensa adalah 12 cm, dan pada variasi jarak lensa ketiga, nilai rata-ratanya adalah (1,94 ml/jam) dari volume air laut yang dipanaskan (1.500 ml) dengan jarak titik tengah antara lensa adalah 16 cm. Variasi jarak antara lensa yang hasilnya paling baik adalah variasi 1.

Abstract

Learning from home shows good results if there is success in learning which is influenced by factors from within and from outside the students themselves. One of them is a discipline in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between discipline in learning from home and the learning achievement of chemistry students of Class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Sorong during the Covid-19 pandemic. The number of samples was determined using the Harry King Nomogram with a 95% confidence interval to obtain 154 samples from 254 populations. This research uses correlational research. The results of the correlation test showed that the correlation coefficient (r) between the discipline of learning from home and the students' chemistry learning achievement was 0.066 with p = 0.419, and with a positive correlation direction. By using a significance level of 5%, it was obtained p = 0.419> 0.05. The correlation value obtained from the results of the analysis is the same as rxy ≤ 0, which means that Ho is accepted and Hi is rejected, or in other words, there is no positive and significant relationship between the discipline of learning from home and the chemistry learning achievement of students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Sorong during the pandemic. Covid-19. This means that students' chemistry learning achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic was not influenced by the level of student learning discipline.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar materi sistem operasi jaringan antara pembelajaran berbasis literasi, dan praktek dengan pembelajaran berbasis literasi pada siswa kelas XI jurusan teknik komputer jaringan SMK Negeri 3 Sorong tahun 2019/2020. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Negeri 3 Sorong dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas XI Jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Sebagai target penelitian adalah kenaikan hasil belajar dan kenaikan rata-rata kelas dari setiap siklus. Pola rancangan eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Simple randomized design. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian adalah: Ada perbedaan hasil belajar Materi Sistem Operasi Jaringan Antara Pembelajaran Berbasis Literasi dan Praktek dengan Pembelajaran Berbasis Literasi Pada Siswa Kelas XI Jurusan Teknik Komputer Jaringan SMK Negeri 3 Sorong Tahun 2019/2020, Hasil pembelajaran berbasis literasi dan praktek lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran berbasis literasi dengan nilai rata-rata kelas yaitu 77,62, Pembelajaran berbasis literasi dan praktek siswa dapat membantu siswa untuk mencapai ketuntasan belajar

Abstract

Scientific work is in the form of practicum activities that take place in a laboratory equipped with supporting tools and materials. Practical activities in the laboratory in the learning process can increase students' knowledge to solve problems using the theory that has been given systematically. The purpose of this study was to analyze the completeness of the chemistry laboratory at SMA Negeri 3 Sorong City. Laboratory analysis based on standard facilities and Permendiknas RI No. 24 of 2007. The method used in this research is the descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The school subjects used in this study were SMA Negeri 3 Sorong. The results of the analysis of the completeness of the chemical laboratory at SMA Negeri 3 Sorong City showed that 87.5% of the furniture used for practicum was available in the laboratory, while the suitability of the equipment used was 51.42%. For consumables stored in the laboratory as a whole by existing standards (100%), and as much as 80% of other available equipment, so the analysis results show that the chemical laboratory equipment owned by SMA Negeri 3 Sorong is by the standard of facilities. and laboratory infrastructure in this case Permendiknas RI No. 24 of 2007.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred throughout the world, especially Indonesia, is a situation that requires everyone to work, study and carry out activities from home. In the world of education, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a major influence on learning activities from elementary to high (college) levels, where in the past learning could be done directly but currently requires all teachers, students and students to study online (on a network). Lecturers are required not only in mastering technology as well, but the delivery of material from lecturers also certainly has an important influence on students' understanding of the material. Lecturers must be able to make students understand what is conveyed in online learning. This research was carried out by the Civil Engineering study program at the Catholic Polytechnic of Saint Paul Sorong in the applied physics course. Research data was taken through a questionnaire distributed online to semester 1 students of the 2020/2021 academic year who had taken an online Applied Physics course with a total of 41 students as respondents. This research is descriptive quantitative. This study uses an instrument that is a questionnaire. The contents of the questionnaire relate to how much students are able to understand applied physics courses and student responses during online learning. The questionnaire used has been tested for validity and reliability using the SPSS version 23 application. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the percentage of students' understanding of civil engineering in applied physics courses during online learning is 43% at most stating that online learning has been going well.

Abstract

Currently, all activities in various fields are mandatory work from home, including in the field of education. Saint Paul Polythecnic Sorong passes 1 academic year with full online learning, then in the even semester 2020/2021 academic year, implementing learning with a combination of online and face- to face learning activities. Researchers conducted research with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of the combination of online and face to face learning in statistics courses during the pandemic. To test the effectiveness of this learning combination, the researcher used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the data that has been obtained, the result of the questionnaire stated that 10% stated that it was not effective, 4% said it was less effective, 3% said was quite effective, 4% said it was effective and 79% stated that the combination of online and face – to - face learning was very effective in statistics course in Indonesia pandemic period. This is evidenced by the statistical hypothesis in this study, namely H_a:ρ>75% (The combination of online and face -to - face learning in statistics courses in the pandemic period is effective) where from the total number of students, namely 54 people who have participated in this lecture activity, there are 79% all students have stated that this combination of learning can work effectively, especially during the covid-19 pandemic through research questionnaires given after students take statistics lectures

Abstract

A toxicity test is carried out to determine the death of the tested organism caused by the concentration of certain chemical compounds in the environment which is recorded as the value of lethal concentration (LC50). The main ingredients needed in this study are kerper fish (cyprinus carpio), water, and pesticides. The experiment was carried out 4 times, namely fresh, wayu 2 days, wayu 7 days, and wayu 9 days. 10 individual test animals were placed into each experimental container (vol. 4 liters). Water and test material were observed every 24 hours for 2 days, and during the experiment, the test animals were fed and oxygenated. The results showed that the resulting LC50 value for fresh was 3.55 x 10-4 ppm, the resulting LC50 value was 4.23 x 10-3 ppm, wayu 2 days was 8.69 x 10-3 ppm, wayu 7 days 5.68 x 10-3 ppm, and the resulting LC50 value for 9-day wayu is 1.026 x 10-2 ppm. The toxicity of matador pesticides against kerper fish that has been transmitted for 9 days is less effective. This happens because the pesticide is in direct contact with the air and the longer it is, the ability to kill the target animal is getting smaller. So if the pesticide is used, the toxicity will decrease so that the LC50 value will be higher

Abstract

Curriculum simplification is one of the ways in which the government supports education in Indonesia, so that learning can continue even during the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, the Cinta Kasih Elementary School simplifies learning tools in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year so that competence can be achieved in each subject. Researchers carried out research with the aim of analyzing the simplification of learning tools during the COVID-19 pandemic in the 2021/2022 Odd Semester at Cinta Kasih Elementary School with a sample of learning tools for science and mathematics subjects in grade 4. This study used qualitative research, namely to see how effective the simplification of learning tools was. which was applied at the Cinta Kasih Elementary School by collecting data in the form of interview data, class visits and documentation during the learning process. The results of the study can be concluded that the simplification of learning tools can be carried out effectively in the odd semester, namely by looking at the condition of the school environment, the condition of the students, and most importantly, the creativity of the teacher in teaching and using time so that the competencies, indicators that have been designed can be achieved by students. The ability of students and teachers as well as the availability of infrastructure and facilities can be seen from the ability of students to capture in class, interaction in learning between teachers and students, use of learning media, and the availability of time used in learning. This is evidenced by taking interview data, scheduled class visits and supported by documentation taken in class, so it can be proven that the simplification of learning tools has been carried out during the covid-19 pandemic at Cinta Kasih Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa hasil pengolahan air tanah untuk bahan baku utama proses produksi yang diolah dengan menggunakan sand filter dan carbon purifier. Penelitian dilakukan di PT. XYZ selama 1 bulan di unit QA (Quality Assurance). Metode analisa hasil pengolahan air menggunakan pengukuran fisiko kimiawi dalam sampel air dengan parameter pengukuran fisikawi adalah total padatan terlarut (ppm), kekeruhan (NTU) sementara parameter kimiawi yang untuk pengukuran adalah pH, alkalinitas (ppm), total klorin (ppm), klorin bebas (ppm), total besi (ppm), total kesadahan (ppm). Hasil analisis pengolahan air tanah dengan menggunakan sand filter dan carbon purifier menunjukkan bahwa air yang digunakan masih berada di bawah standar yang ditetapkan oleh PT.XYZ sehingga baik untuk digunakan sebagai bahan baku utama proses produksi.

Abstract

Kebijakan yang diterapkan selama pandemic yang memiliki cukup tantangan ini, pada akhirnya berakhir dengan dikeluarkannya kebijakan Pembelajaran Tatap Muka (PTM), namun dalam pelaksanaannya, sistem pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas ini masih mengalami kendala yang pada akhirnya melahirkan asumsi apakah pembelajaran yang saat ini diterapkan di SMA Negeri 3 Sorong berupa pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas memiliki efektivitas belajar yang baik bila dilihat dari berbagai variable. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 93 orang siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan melakukan pengujian instrument penelitian dalam hal ini uji validitas dan reliabilitas data. Uji asumsi klasik berupa uji normalitas, linearitas dan multikolinearitas. Sementara untuk uji signifikansi dilakukan uji serentak (uji ANOVA) dan Uji Parsial. Hasil analisis data diperoleh Terdapat pengaruh antara tingkat keaktifan belajar, tingkat konsentrasi belajar, tingkat pemahaman siswa saat PTM terbatas terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa secara signifikan
