Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze the influence of ethical leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on employee performance. To achieve these objectives, this study uses quantitative research methods. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation of 38 respondents in Sorong City BKPSDM analyzed using SPSS 22. The results showed that there was a significant influence between ethical leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on employee performance. So to improve employee performance, the organization and institutional management must pay attention to improving the quality of leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. The findings of this study are expected to be useful for further researchers in the fields of management, accounting, administration and economics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the form of strategic thinking and study life, the impact of strategic thinking on study life, and the factors that affect the quality of studies life. For achieving those objectives, this study using qualitative research methods. The data obtained through questioners and documentation techniques reduced, analyzed, and concluded. The research found that many students weak in thinking strategically. Students’ study life often was not arranged regularly. They were sometimes irrational in thinking and act. Many of them lost orientation and did not realize their essential task. Many students were not discipline and tend to relax, affected on hedonistic lifestyle, easily affected, and lose in value. To improve the quality of study life, students have to increase strategic thinking ability, think rationally and analytically before doing everything. The impact of a good study life (which has gone through a strategic thought process) is a change in behavior. Factors that influence the life of studies such as the campus with the system and regulations, teachers, and learning support facilities must be taken seriously for an educational revolution and strategic quality. The findings of this research are expected to be useful for next researchers in the field of management, accounting, administration and economics.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze the influence of communication, discipline, and motivation on employee performance. To achieve these objectives, this study uses quantitative research methods. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation of 38 respondents in the office of Badan Kepegawaian, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Kabupaten Teluk Wondama analyzed using SPSS 22. The results showed that there was a significant influence between communication, discipline, and motivation on employee performance. So to improve employee performance, the organization and institutional management must pay attention to improving good communication, discipline, and motivation. The findings of this study are expected to be useful for further researchers in the fields of management, accounting, administration and economics.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is toanalyze, explain, and discuss how to create qualified formal learning in support of students' self-learning effectiveness, how the leadership style of Guardian Class in supporting the effectiveness of self-learning of students, and factors influence the effectiveness of student self-learning. The research is designed to answer the problems and objectives that have been formulated and proposed. To address the problems and objectives, the researchwas conducted in IMPRES Elementary School 102 Sorong City Klagete, West Papua. To answer the research problem, this research uses qualitative method, where data collected and analyzed, obtained by observation, interview, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by reducing, presented and summarized.The results ofthis study states that this study mentioned to improve the effectiveness of formal learning, it is necessary to structuring the quality of formal learning. The education process should be done regularly, systematically, by following clear requirements. Teachers must be creative using a variety of techniques and teaching methods that are contextual to the situation and students' absorption. In addition, it needs to be supported with the leadership qualities of the Guardian Class. The ability of the Guardian Class in communicating, motivating students, visionary is very helpful in improving the quality of formal learning of students.The family environment factors, peers, study time, teacher's knowledge and skills, guardian's attention, and coorporative learning are very important to be observed and arranged well. All should be considered in improving the management of education and the formulation of school policies in the effort of improvement and improvement of quality.

Abstract

This study aims to find and explain efforts to embattle crime. The research was conducted with qualitative methods. Data obtained through interview and documentation techniques were collected for further condensation and conclusion. The results of the study inform that efforts to embattle crime are carried out in two ways, namely the way of evil and the way of goodness. The way of evil is the punishment that equals or burdens the perpetrators of crimes so that they are not sufficient in moral value, such as the death penalty for narcotics crimes, murder, and corruption. The second is the path of goodness. Evil must always be rewarded with good, as the moral imperative of Thomas Aquinas, "Bonum est faciendum et prosequendum, et malum vitandum". Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the forms of legal protection for workers that can be given to women workers according to Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower and knowing the factors influencing the implementation of legal protection for women workers. The research used normative juridical research with statutory approaches and conceptual approaches. Data obtained through documentation and interviews were analyzed, described, explained, compared, and interpreted for conclution. The results of the study revealed that legal protection for women workers was related to clarity of status, equal treatment, and exercise of rights. In addition, factors that need to be considered were the relativity of law, the absence of an agreement between women workers and employers to strengthen gender in the workplace, the low awareness of employers about women's labor rights, the low bargaining position of women, the type and type of work, wrong perceptions of employers regarding labor force, and the company's play on the status and rights of women workers. To fulfill the desire for legal protection for women workers, the legal product must prohibit gender identification in the entire management process, the legal product must not be related to relativity in perception and implementation, the legal product must be rational and not have an ambiguous impact, and all regulatory formulations and company policies must in the light of Pancasila philosophy..
