Abstract

The concept of smart home and cyber home is not the same, even much different. If a smart home or smart home is more aimed at users or home users who lead to conventional homes equipped with digital devices, the concept of cyber home is more to the bandwidth capacity of the internet to complement digital devices in the home. For this reason, Cyber Park Indonesia cooperates with PT Wika Realty. Specifically to develop the housing as a cyber home, Cyber Park Indonesia uses optical fiber. [Kompas, 2017]. This fact states that communication using optical fiber becomes very important so that to optimize the optical fiber system, a study that produces frequency responses to optical fiber attenuation parameters is made. Various sine signal frequency and amplitude values are given as input from an optical fiber dispersing system by looking at the response of the receiver in the form of voltage parameter values. The frequency values given range from 100 Hz to 10 Khz. The linkage of the input amplitude value to the damping value is an output voltage output generated by the amplitude of the amplitude parameter at the sending end. This voltage value comparison is used as the damping parameter of an optical fiber communication system. Giving this frequency will provide the performance of a fiber optic communication system. The resulting voltage value is a constant of changes in the frequency value.

Abstract

The rise of motorcycles today is in line with the increase in criminal acts such as motorcycle theft. Even though it is equipped with a security system such as a shutter key and ignition key, motorbikes can still be broken into by burglar specialists. When a motorcycle theft occurs, what the community can do is report the incident to the police and the community takes a long time to find the whereabouts of the missing motorcycle. Based on these problems, an additional security system was designed for Arduino-based motorcycles by utilizing GPS and SIM7000 modules. With the help of a simple application on the user's smartphone, this motorcycle security system can be tracked at any time even remotely. The results of this test obtained the coordinate points taken by the motorcycle during the route with the default time interval of 1 second. The coordinates obtained are displayed directly on google maps that are connected to the application and stored in the history application to anticipate if a motor vehicle theft occurs. The accuracy of taking coordinates on this tool is 85% when the quality of the network received is in good condition and 75% when the quality of the network received is in poor condition.

Abstract

The rapid development of wireless communication requires flexible and efficient systems in spectrum utilization. Software Defined Radio (SDR) enables communication functions to be implemented through software, increasing system flexibility. This study aims to analyze the performance of SDR-based digital communication systems using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). A total of 18 articles published between 2021–2026 were analyzed based on key performance parameters. The results show that accuracy or detection probability is the most dominant parameter (22%), followed by throughput, latency, and system efficiency (17%), while Bit Error Rate (BER) accounts for 11%. The study also identifies trade-offs among performance parameters in SDR systems. These findings provide insights for optimizing future SDR-based communication systems.

Abstract

Reliable network monitoring technology is essential for educational institutions to ensure uninterrupted digital services. This study aims to implement a Zabbix-based server and router monitoring system integrated with Telegram notifications at SDIT Raudhatul As-Salimy Gobah. A mixed-methods approach was applied, combining quantitative pre–post evaluation with qualitative interviews and observations of the school’s IT staff. The results show that the system detected failures with an average delay of 2 minutes 30 seconds and delivered recovery notifications within 20 seconds. Integration with Telegram significantly reduced the mean time to acknowledge (MTTA) from 1–2 hours to 10–20 minutes, thereby improving IT team responsiveness in handling incidents. This implementation not only minimized network downtime but also enhanced operational efficiency, infrastructure stability, and the quality of digital-based learning services. The main contribution of this study is the development of a low-cost, open-source, and replicable network monitoring model suitable for K-12 schools in rural areas. Abstrak Pemanfaatan teknologi monitoring jaringan yang handal menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi institusi pendidikan untuk menjaga kelancaran layanan digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring server dan router berbasis Zabbix yang terintegrasi dengan notifikasi Telegram di SDIT Raudhatul As-Salimy Gobah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed-methods, yaitu evaluasi kuantitatif pre–post implementasi serta wawancara dan observasi kualitatif terhadap tim IT sekolah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi gangguan dengan rata-rata waktu 2 menit 30 detik dan mengirimkan notifikasi dalam 20 detik setelah perangkat kembali normal. Integrasi dengan Telegram secara signifikan menurunkan mean time to acknowledge (MTTA) dari 1–2 jam menjadi 10–20 menit, serta memperbaiki responsivitas tim IT dalam menangani gangguan. Implementasi ini tidak hanya mengurangi downtime jaringan, tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, stabilitas infrastruktur, serta kualitas layanan pembelajaran berbasis digital. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah penyusunan model monitoring jaringan open-source, biaya rendah, dan replikatif yang dapat diterapkan oleh sekolah K-12 di wilayah rural.
